Your Impact

You will use your experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), on-premise software, networking, installation, configuration plus excellence in supporting highly impactful PoC’s to support us in our mission to Protect Life and Accelerate Justice. As a member of the Axon EMEA Sales Engineering Team the Sales Engineer supports the sales campaign to communicate the value of and deploy and support evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions SaaS and on-premise solutions to Public Safety Agencies across Southern Europe region. The Sales Engineer is a quota carrying, customer-facing front line role that facilitates and influences product enhancements and the deployment of Axon Enterprise’s products and solutions.

- Support the technical and value aspects of the sales effort across territory which will include: impactful and compelling technical presentations, architecture design discussions, competitive displacement, proof-of-concept engagements, leading RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations and technical workshops with customers and partners
- Support the smooth transition of the sales opportunity into successful delivery by our Professional Services and/or Partner network.
- Consistently research, network and ideate to become the regional “go to” resource for future solution opportunities, product roadmap development and thought leadership
- Present and evangelise Axon technical & business value propositions at industry events
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of AXON and domain expertise within technology subject area
- Document customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management
- Provide support to product Test and Evaluations
- Execute customer site assessments targeting technology infrastructure assessments
- Transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers and colleagues
- Proactively plan to prevent pre and post sales issues to shorten time to revenue
What You Bring
- A natural and enthusiastic aptitude for technology plus the ability to communicate its value using compiling and contextualised stories to anyone from any background
- Confidence to own and professionally drive customers to successful outcomes with Axon solutions.
- A “self starter” - ability to identify what tasks need your ownership and when you should collaborate.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering fields) or equivalent experience
- Willing to travel significantly (70%), some travel internationally
- Must have a valid Passport and Clean Driving License
- 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer or similar related field
- Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialisations: Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP Engineering, IP security, Embedded Systems, IAM, SAAS
- Strong understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, network technologies and IP stack (for example Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Ocularis, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANS, firewalls, VPN gateways, proxies, etc.)
- High degree of technical knowledge in computing infrastructure components, data centers, and system support
- Experience in data integration and data analysis to support expanding product portfolio
- Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack)
- Demonstrable experience of strong project management for successful PoC’s
- Fluent Native Italian and excellent English language skills essential
- Evidence of effectively adding value as a Global team member
- Evidence of working effectively remotely and independently
- Knowledge and experience implementing and managing relational database solutions, in-particular Microsoft/Azure SQL, an advantage
- Practical knowledge of SAN technologies (EMC, HP 3Par, etc.) an advantage

As a Windows Low Level Engineer - Endpoint security, you will design and develop advanced security features for SentinelOne’s Windows endpoint protection platform, operating across both user-mode and kernel-mode environments. You will build and optimize mission-critical components including anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure while solving complex performance and stability challenges at massive scale. By researching Windows internals and debugging deep system issues, you will collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact security capabilities protecting millions of devices worldwide.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in low-level C++ programming and a deep understanding of Windows OS, to help us in developing our Endpoint Protection product, the core part of our business, and to join one of our Platform group teams. (We're currently growing multiple teams and are open to new colleagues with a wide variety of backgrounds within Windows development!).
The Platform group teams are in charge of some of our most complex low-level areas, such as:
- Windows agent’s Anti-Tampering (self-protection from malware attempting to harm the agent), network sensors, device control, and other kernel-side features involving both research and development,
- usermode security & agent infrastructures - e.g. installers, logging, services such as communication layer & interfaces for our Windows agent, for improving the quality, performance & stability of the agent and making the user experience smoother.
By joining our group, you will collaborate with talented engineers who are leading a feature through the whole development lifecycle. Your work will have an impact on millions of endpoints in one of the mainstream areas of the EPP/EDR agent of SentinelOne - a product recognized 5x-in-a-row as Gartner MQ Leader, scoring highly in many MITRE Att&ck assessments, valued by users in Gartner Peer Insights and more.
What will you do?
- As a new member of one of our distributed development teams, you will work in both user-mode & kernel-mode, and deal with a large variety of fields.
- You will have the chance to design, develop primarily in modern C++ (23), test and debug the most complicated real-world problems (often unseen before). In order to successfully deal with this challenge, you will continuously enrich your knowledge and experience with Windows OS internals & Kernel, Endpoint Protection, and Endpoint Detection & Response eco-system.
- Our teams design and execute significant new features, as well as rewrite and reimplement the existing ones from scratch. You will also deal with extraordinary performance & optimization challenges, given the scale of our cybersecurity SW (handling hundreds of billions of events every day).
- Your work will influence the security of tens of millions of Windows devices, that we protect at enterprise & government customers across the globe (incl. 4 of Fortune 10 and hundreds of Global 2000).
- You’ll also be encouraged to share knowledge within both Platform teams and the broader Windows group.
What skills & knowledge should you bring?
- Multiple years of experience as a software engineer in the area of lowlevel programming using modern C++ (or using C and a willingness to learn modern C++)
- Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of Windows OS design & internals, Windows low-level development, with debugging of Windows applications and familiarity with related standard debugging and profiling tools
- Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment
- Great communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with peers from different time zones, problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking
- Attention to detail and high coding standards
- An advantage: experience with Windows Kernel and Windows Drivers development, experience in security-oriented development, with reversing or malware analysis

As a Software Engineer II in the Vettore Medical team, you will be working on a cloud SaaS solution for clinics and medical offices. You will join a small feature team and be responsible for evolving the product and integrating it within our ecosystem.

As an Application Engineer you will focus on servicing Markforged customers primarily in the field, covering the Markforged technology. You will use your technical knowledge and expertise, working with the Sales team during the conversations with customers and partners, to identify opportunities and determine solutions for how the Markforged solutions can enhance and fit into their environments and infrastructure, demonstrating tangible added value for the customer. You will collaborate with, and coach customers and VARs in the effective implementation of the Markforged technology, using the technology to its full potential to achieve customer expectations.
What will you own:
- Develop knowledge and competence of a diverse range of technologies and become a subject matter expert (SME) on one or more specific Markforged product(s)
- Lead the implementation in the field of Markforged technology, to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the machines / platform which meets the customer expectations
- Attend prospect meetings with the Sales team to identify opportunities for the customer, exceeding their expectations and influencing the sales process
- Listen, understand and evaluate the customers’ needs to be able to identify appropriate and effective solutions which enhance their experience of the Markforged technology, resulting in increased sales
- Execute benchmarking and technical analysis to support and increase the value-add benefit of Markforged technology for our customers
- Represent the voice of the customer by encouraging technical feedback which can be reported to Head Office, to enhance the Markforged offering
- Support customer-facing demonstrations and presentations and technical demand generation content (blog posts, webinars, whitepapers)
- Deliver and coach Technical Training to our customers and VARs in the effective use of Markforged technologies
- Identify and contribute to the marketing activities of the team, including creation of customer success stories which will drive business growth
- Support peers in attending Markforged and VAR events to generate new leads, create pipeline and promote the positive engagement of Markforged’s Additive Manufacturing platform as a solution
- Using your technical expertise to create and improve technical documentation and training material
- Provide feedback and support on complex customer cases, driving to successful conclusion
- Any other duties as reasonably required
What you have:
- Proven experience with customer support, being able to demonstrate your technical knowledge in handling complex problems and providing solutions for the customer, preferably with Industrial solutions using 3D-printing technology, hardware, software or with industrial / capital expense equipment
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in an aggressive timeline-driven environment fostering your drive and determination to meet and exceed customer needs
- Proven ability to enhance customer relationships to the benefit of the organisation
- With the ability to work collaboratively but also independently you will strive to be the best at what you do
- Organisational competencies and project management skills to effectively benchmark using your technical expertise to analyse, support and increase the value-add benefit of Markforged technology for our customers
- Your communication skills will allow you to foster quick and successful relationships with both internal and external customers which stand the test of time
- Demonstrated ability to present to technical knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing is beneficial
- Knowledge of general manufacturing processes and techniques is advantageous
- Experience with major CAD software such as Fusion 360, Solidworks, NX is a bonus
- Willingness to travel (majorly domestic and occasionally international, up to 60%)
- Bachelor of Science, Engineering, business or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with e-learning and LMS platforms
- Fluency in Salesforce CRM use and reporting
- Experience of working with international teams is an advantage
- Language competency: Business proficiency in English, one or more European languages such as Italian, German, French, Spanish is of benefit
Salary Range
The pay range for this role is expected to be between 40,199.90 - 47,294 EUR (annually).
Other compensation may include a commission, a comprehensive benefits package and other social benefits. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
