As part of our team, you'll develop distributed services, collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and operations team members to build highly robust solutions. Role responsibilities include:

The Staff Engineer acts as a Technical Lead. You don't just find bugs; you design complex attack chains that demonstrate systemic risk. You spend as much time writing custom code and researching new bypasses as you do executing tests.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Full-Stack Penetration Testing: Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Internal/External Network Audits: Conduct network and cloud level assessments with various tooling
• Vulnerability Validation: Triage and validate reports from automated scanners or bug bounty hunters to eliminate false positives and escalate true positives
• AI/LLM Probing: Perform initial prompt injection and jailbreak tests on AI prototypes, services, and applications using established checklists (OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).

• AI Red Teaming Architecture: Build automated testing frameworks for AI systems (e.g., using PyRIT, Promptfoo, or Garak) to test for models related to sensitive data leakage.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Attacks: Execute sophisticated attacks against AWS/Azure/K8s, focusing on IAM misconfigurations and container escapes.
• Purple Teaming: Collaborate with SIRT and Detection Engineering to tune SIEM alerts based on the techniques used during an engagement.
• Strategic Bug Bounty Management: Oversee the organization's bug bounty program, identifying trends in submissions to suggest broad architectural security changes.

• Concepts: Expert Knowledge and  solid understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and the OWASP Top 10 for web applications and top 10 for LLMs, post exploitation (lateral movement, persistence, data exfiltration) and Adversarial ML.

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments

The Technical Support Engineer team is looking for an individual with engineering and or web development experience that wants to be a part of creating truly exceptional customer experiences as well as educating and supporting our customers on a global level. This is not a springboard into other areas or jobs at Intercom, but this is a great role for those who are looking to be part of our support team for a while and who are excited about growing alongside Intercom. This position will be hybrid with the expectation to work from the office 3 days a week and work from home the remaining 2 days of the week. You are welcome to work from the office full-time if that is preferred.

What will I be doing? 

• Communicating efficiently and effectively with our customers - we use our own product to do most of our support, but outbound phone calls are part of our offering too
• Owning customer communications and issues from initial contact until resolution
• Becoming an encyclopedia of knowledge about how Intercom works and what it is capable of
• Being the one responsible, along with the Support team, to ensure that all customers have a great experience with the product - a crucial part of the role is ensuring we make the product as easy to use, reliable, bug-free, and fast as possible
• Working directly with product teams to identify current issues and, synthesizing the diverse feedback you hear from our customers, offer informed opinions on potential solutions
• Debugging complex issues with an understanding of both our own codebase and the many technologies employed by our customers
• Utilizing inherited and learned technical knowledge to build tools that will help increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and its processes
• Influencing the direction of the Intercom product through daily communication with our customers and consistent collaboration with our product teams
  
  

  What your first 6 months will look like:

  In your first 30 days you will: 

  • Complete company onboarding, becoming familiar with Intercom’s values, strategy, and goals
  • Dive into CS-specific trainings to learn the product and CS workflows and successfully pass relevant assessments
  • Start talking to customers in the inbox and build “inboxing” fundamentals through Paired Inboxing sessions
  • Showcase successful and proactive communication about your training progress and needs/questions that arise

   

  In your first 60 days, you will: 

  • Continue to complete CS trainings and pass relevant assessments successfully and on schedule
  • Independently inbox using the resources and supports provided; be able to identify Problems to be Solved and address all pieces of the customer’s query
  • Demonstrate ownership in the execution of your work 
  • Showcase successful and proactive communication, building on above - begin a habit of having items prepared for 1:1 discussion and driving the agenda 

   

  In your first 90 days, you will: 

  • Receive QA reviews and action feedback
  • Begin a personal growth tracker document (or Individual Development Plan) with your manager for ongoing development and showcase a proactive approach to personal and career development

What skills do I need?

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.

What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
• Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
• Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
• Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Senior Engineering Manager - Corporate Engineering

About the team 

We are a technical Corporate Engineering team, ensuring stakeholders across Grafana have the technology they need to excel. This covers the historical way of managing corporate systems, including IT Operations, Internal Helpdesk, Corporate Security, and service development. This also covers the future of corporate systems, where developers and non-technical employees alike need to build automations, ship internal applications, and deploy background agentic workloads. Our job is to provide the core systems and platforms to optimize our current and future stacks and enable all employees to own their own workflows.

The Opportunity 

We are looking for a leader to curate and drive our Corporate Engineering team. You will be responsible for finishing the optimization of our current IT operations stack, and be the driver of our internal AI native strategy. You want to push decision-making to wherever the right information is, rather than centralizing approvals, and you can build the processes and systems to enable all teams to experiment and own their own tools. You embody DevOps principles, and long lead or approval times fill you with dread. You see shadow IT as a signal that we have a gap, rather than something to be controlled. 

You will lead a team that manages the operation and security of traditional corporate IT systems, help desk queues, and employee hardware, but also provides tools and platforms for other teams’ to effectively operate in. Your team is also significantly responsible for the operational and security strategy for internal AI usage, agentic workloads, and general automation at Grafana. You will guide your team building and delivering internal platforms that automate typical IT work and enable our employees to do their best work seamlessly. You must have significant engineering acumen as this is a highly technology-driven role.

This is a high-impact opportunity to define what IT and corporate systems looks like in the AI age at a technical, everything-as-code company. You will have a fully staffed team and significant autonomy to achieve objectives. What You’ll Be Going:

• Lead the team covering a range of existing areas, including corporate systems, employee device lifecycles, helpdesk queues, and internal tooling development.
• Handle corporate security initiatives, deploying security and compliance checks in an employee-enabling way (guardrails and paved roads) in their daily workflows.
• Help define our wider internal AI rollout, enablement, and security strategy across all teams, not just developers. 
• Manage the relationships, negotiation, and contracting with core SaaS vendors.
• Make all work and costs visible, both internally to the team and enable stakeholder teams to understand their processes and work. Use this visibility to continuously improve processes.
• Understand and, where possible, leverage the Grafana product and ecosystem to solve corporate engineering challenges. Open-source what we come up with for the good of other Grafana users. 
• Act as a leader within the larger Foundations department, including all other platform, business application, and security teams. 
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching, and mentoring to ensure your team members are motivated, happy and engaged. Provide continuous feedback to ensure that they can add value while maintaining high standards.
• Participate in team activities. Be a participant in all work queues. Contribute to and review design documents for upcoming projects, ensuring projects are well-defined and ready for development. You will be part of your team’s and department's on-call rotation. 

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Experience running a software engineering operations team. You have a strong engineering background and are capable of engaging in technical conversations and challenging teams to arrive at strong technical decisions themselves. You understand at least one cloud provider well, and have a working knowledge of k8s.
• Deep hands-on experience managing and automating corporate IT systems commonly used by modern tech companies, including the gamut of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android), SSO (Okta, 1Password), workplace productivity tools (Google Workspace, Office) MDM (Jamf, Intune, FleetDM, Kolide), EDR, DLP, typical corporate SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk), AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, Google, etc), and managing employee laptops and devices.
• You approach IT and corporate security with a DevOps mindset, preferring enablement, automation, and guardrails over gates and roadblocks. You have experience providing internal platforms to other teams and see IT as a provider of tools, platforms, and automation, rather than a ticket-taking service provider.
• Knowledge of the current AI state of the art, and strong ideas on how to leverage effectively and safely across the enterprise in a way that enables experimentation rather than locking the organization into yesterday’s technology. 
• You are deeply curious about software, security, and the current and future states of technology. You keep your teams ahead of the curve.  
• You are an excellent written and verbal communicator who can articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are comfortable working with engineering teams who have a strong sense of autonomy in their decision-making, and guiding via influence.
• Work Eastern-time oriented hours. Grafana Labs is a global company, and we need to maximize overlap time with our EMEA peers. 

Bonus Points:

• A technical background, ideally with programming or software engineering experience, before transitioning into leadership. Experience with Go, multiple cloud providers, and kubernetes expertise is a great plus.
