As an AI Integration Engineer you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions that will transform our internal systems and operations. You will work closely with others in the technology team and across various departments to identify areas where AI can improve efficiencies and drive data-driven decision-making. This is a technical hands-on role helping to configure and optimize a variety of technologies.

What you’ll do: 

• Set up and configure the next generation of AI software.
• Design and build integrations for AI tooling to core systems and data.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to AI tools and their integration.
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of AI tools.

What you should have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a technology professional in a cloud first and progressive IT environment.
• Strong understanding of and a passion for AI.
• Familiarity with the latest LLMs and AI products and their capabilities.
• Proven experience in setting up and configuring AI tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Ability to switch between different technologies and quickly master new ones.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV, and their transformations.
• Experience with OpenAI, Workato and Databricks is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.
• Healthcare or Advertising industry experience a plus
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range: $110,000-$120,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. This position is part of the Xtern program through TechPoint. Xtern is professional development experience on top of your full-time internship with your company. Xtern provides three weekends where you will connect with other interns in tech and tech adjacent roles at companies in the Indianapolis area. Xtern weekends focus on professional development, civic engagement, and social opportunities to grow your network. Xtern also includes 10 weeks of free housing located at IU Indianapolis. Housing dates are from May 26th, 2026 to July 31st, 2026. You must relocate to Indianapolis for the duration of the summer to be eligible for this internship position and the Xtern program.

Responsibilities

The Tech Lead, Software Engineering, is an integral part of the Product and Software Engineering organization at Remodel Health! You will enjoy working at the intersection of technology, the healthcare industry, customer success (both internal and external), product management and software architecture. You will directly manage a team of 5-7 Software Engineers (Jr through to Sr) in the development of software projects towards company goals. You will help define systems architecture as well as help define product roadmap. Most importantly you will manage the team and define and execute processes to ensure successful team execution. 

Tactical Level Execution 

• Full participant in the Product / Engineering Agile development framework; playing the role of Scrum Master for the team 
• Collaborate with Leadership, Engagement, Care, Finance, Marketing, DevSecOps, Product, Software Architecture and even external customers as needed to define and prioritize work items 
• Participate in software development to achieve sprint goals
• Ensure the creation of quality code development towards company work items (epics, stories, bugs) with the team 
• Validate feature requests or bugs with product management 
• Work with Product to keep the product backlog clean and accurate and prioritized ● Guide employee onboarding for your team 
• Team development activities like coordinating trainings, ongoing 1/1s and annual employee reviews 

Strategic Level Items

• Build a high performing Software Engineering team; executing efficiently and effectively in the delivery of quality software 
• Build relationships with other team leaders in the company to ensure accurate prioritization of team’s work items 
• Work with Product Management to define and execute product vision 

Qualifications

• 3+ years technical experience, software engineering or comparable

• Strong knowledge of the U.S. Healthcare Systems preferred
