ABOUT THE ROLE

The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s indirect and state income tax compliance, reporting, and planning processes, including sales/use tax, property tax, and other state and local taxes. This role identifies tax risks and opportunities, develops solutions, and works with external advisors to support the organization’s operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax and other transaction-based taxes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee property tax filings, assessments, and related schedules for development and operating projects.
• Oversee state income tax compliance, including reviewing returns, managing apportionment methodologies, and analyzing state tax positions.
• Review and prepare responses and supporting documentation for state and local tax agency notices and audits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect tax or multi-state tax within public accounting as a tax professional.

The Senior Manager, Project Finance is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and implementing project financing of solar and storage projects within the Clēnera portfolio. This role executes the strategy related to effective capital deployment, sourcing and evaluating financing structures inclusive of debt, tax equity and alternatives. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and participate in the delivery of presentations for the investment community to obtain project financing.  

• Develop pro formas for solar and storage projects with accompanying assumption support and document review.  

• Develop financial models to analyze project feasibility and profitability, including go/no-go recommendations for projects with supporting analysis.  

• Prepare due diligence materials, offering materials for debt and equity transactions, and documentation of structured or project finance transactions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director, Development is responsible for leading and executing all project development efforts in their market from Greenfield to Notice to Proceed for construction. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create and manage project schedule and development budget to coordinate internal and external stakeholders with respect to completing all development milestones relating to PPA, interconnection, permitting, site control, and real estate curative work to prepare projects for financing requirements and Notice to Proceed (NTP) for construction.

The Financial Applications Engineer designs, develops, and configures scalable solutions within core financial systems to support accounting, finance, and operational workflows. You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT to translate complex business requirements into well‑engineered system configurations, automations, integrations, and data structures. The position requires a balance of financial acumen and technical depth, with a strong focus on solution design, system integrity, and long‑term maintainability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, AP/AR, and operational stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, ensuring functional needs are clearly translated into system‑ready designs and configurations.
• Design and develop financial application solutions that include workflows, validations, approval logic, roles, permissions, and business rules, with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and alignment with accounting principles.

• Support the attorney team and senior Company management in ensuring Company board materials are prepared and provided to board members in a timely manner and track presentation topics for upcoming board meetings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Project Finance leads the structuring, negotiation, and execution of debt and tax equity financing of solar and storage projects within the Clēnera portfolio. This role executes the strategy related to effective capital deployment, sourcing and evaluating financing structures inclusive of debt, tax equity and alternatives. This role is pivotal in securing capital to support project development, construction, and operations. May also source potential acquisition targets as well as strategic sell downs of projects within the Clēnera portfolio. We are currently considering applicants in the Boise or New York areas or individuals open to relocating to one of those areas.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead all aspects of simultaneous highly-complex, structured financing for utility-scale solar and/or storage asset transactions, including debt, tax equity, and sponsor equity and under various deal structures.
• Develop pro formas for utility-scale solar and storage projects with accompanying assumption support and document review.
• Review financial models to analyze project assumptions, feasibility and profitability, including go/no-go recommendations for projects with supporting analysis.
• Lead internal financing processes and collaborate extensively with legal, finance, and other departments regarding oversight and preparation of due diligence materials, providing materials for debt and equity transactions, and documentation of structured or project finance transactions.
• Represent Clēnera in interactions with lenders, investors, and legal counsel to include financing terms and documentation.
• Conduct analysis of financing alternatives and solutions for optimization and negotiate financing agreements and deal structures to optimize financial outcomes.
• Support long-term strategic planning, including annual strategic recommendation to the executive team, for sourcing capital across various sources to meet the needs of the Clēnera platform.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for, and participate in, monthly and quarterly investment reviews.
• Prepare analysis and resulting reports to support business operations. Lead/oversee analytical expertise on a wide variety of business initiatives. 
• Monitor market trends and maintain individual relationships with financial institutions and capital providers.
• Support M&A activities and strategic financial planning for the IPP portfolio.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, energy/environmental, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Capital Markets, Project Finance, and/or tax equity structures, or investment banking.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Finance or M&A in the US renewable energy industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Construction – Solar & BESS is responsible for leading the successful delivery of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will oversee project execution from late term development through final completion and hand off to Portfolio Operations, ensuring contract compliance, budget adherence, schedule performance, scope accuracy, and stakeholder alignment. The position plays a critical role in driving a portfolio of project governance, identifying and mitigating risks, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring consistent execution practices across the national portfolio.

Please Note: Most of the Construction team is based in the Boise HQ, so we have a strong preference of having this person in Boise. However, we are open to considering remote arrangements for exceptionally qualified individuals. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Report directly to the VP of Construction on portfolio health and associated risks. Provide weekly reports sufficient to be shared with executive leadership.
• Lead and manage a team of owner’s project managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and performance oversight across multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee the successful execution of EPC and subcontractor contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial terms, scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for solar project issues, facilitating resolution through collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
• Develop and implement solar project execution strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive consistency, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Monitor project performance metrics, budgets, and schedules, and provide executive-level reporting on regional portfolio health.

The Project Engineer will provide performance analysis and design expertise on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects during the early-stage development and design phases. You will partner with internal and external contacts to be a subject matter expert on technical specifications for PV and energy storage projects.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Evaluate equipment performance, specifications, and roadmap by working with our internal Procurement team and equipment suppliers to drive technology evolution.
• Create photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage production estimates using commercial software programs, like PVsyst, or in-house models.  
• Coordinate Independent Engineer (IE) due diligence including contract management, reviewing IE reports, IE energy assessments, and providing feedback as needed.  
• Provide Owner Engineering review for projects in all stages of design.
• Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge on new technologies and energy assessment techniques for both PV, and energy storage. 
• Provide technical review and input for key contracts and agreements including Interconnection, Equipment Procurement, Power Purchase, EPC, and O&M.
• Create conceptual system design and site layouts for PV and energy storage.
• Communicate technical specifications and track scope of work for engineering design contracts, while also supporting technical review of contractor-supplied deliverables.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Development Director, Data Centers is responsible for leading the market positioning, commercial development, and strategic growth of the company’s data center business. This role identifies and drives new partnership opportunities, evaluates and prioritizes powered data center sites, structures commercial deals, and engages with industry leaders to expand the company’s presence in the responsible data center market. The Director works cross-functionally to convert strategic opportunities into viable, bankable, and scalable projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s data center growth strategy.
• Leverage Clenera’s development platform including but not limited to utility scale solar and storage assets to accelerate online timelines for large load customers.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and other large‑scale digital infrastructure stakeholders.
• Support evaluation and prioritization of prospective data center sites based on power availability, interconnection potential, land partnerships, permitting feasibility, cooling strategies, and market demand.
• Oversee preparation of customer-facing materials, including RFP responses, commercial proposals, and strategic presentations for datacenter opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams through origination, feasibility studies, commercial structuring, negotiations, and contract execution for data center-related projects.
