This involves providing high-level consultation and technical guidance to engineering, platform, and development teams on secure key management, certificate usage, transport layer security (TLS/SSL), and digital signing.
• Operational Support and Troubleshooting: You will troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact certificate-related issues across our production and development environments, often requiring deep-dive analysis into network traffic, application logs, and CA infrastructure.
• Security Tooling and Integration: Research, evaluate, and integrate modern security tooling related to PKI, hardware security modules (HSMs), and secrets management to enhance the security and efficiency of our operations.

As a founding leader of the IonQ Sweden office, you will also play a key role in growing the site, establishing a culture and connecting with both the local innovation ecosystem as well as other IonQ sites and customers around the world.

As a seasoned R&D leader and a deep technical expert on a team of PhD application scientists co-located within the vibrant BioVenture Hub in Gothenburg, you will drive the discovery of new algorithms and computational resource models, the development of core IP, and oversee the maturation of hybrid quantum solutions from quantum circuits to deployment to the cloud platform. We’re looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager who will be part of a cross-functional team at IonQ whose mission is to deliver the world’s best quantum solutions in life sciences on the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex and impactful problems. This role is open as part of IonQ’s Quantum Applications team based in either Gothenburg, Sweden or Toronto, Canada. You will work closely with partners within the life sciences innovation ecosystem and beyond to create new hybrid quantum applications with significant commercial impact.

In this role, you will lead a talented team of application scientists to deliver the next generation of quantum computing solutions to real-world customers in the advanced health care and life sciences (HCLS) domain. You’ll work with principal investigators, product managers, customers and innovation partners to drive complex projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion. You will support the delivery of a wide variety of initiatives ranging from bespoke quantum solutions, performance-optimized quantum libraries and platforms, as well as first-of-a-kind quantum applications.
