What you will do
As our new Senior Director of Platform, you will provide dedicated leadership for our core engineering centers of excellence. You will own the strategy for our Frontend, Backend, and DevOps platform teams, guiding the underlying architecture for all products and supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses. Reporting to our CISO, your leadership will be crucial in ensuring our technical choices are scalable, future-proof, and AI-ready, allowing you to shape the foundation of our entire engineering ecosystem.
Where you will have impact
- Drive technology strategy for Lighthouse’s internal developer platform, ensuring that our foundational architecture supports scalability, velocity, and standardization across all engineering squads.
- Define the strategy and technical foundations to ensure our codebases and platforms are AI-ready, enabling AI-first application development across engineering squads.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary group of Frontend, Backend, and DevOps engineers, while empowering your teamleads to drive the community and standards for their respective Engineering Chapters.
- Oversee the design and operation of our critical technical foundations, from global cloud infrastructure and high-throughput CI/CD pipelines to our shared Design System and component libraries.
- Partner with leadership across PED to treat the "Internal Platform" as a product, ensuring that our tooling roadmap directly addresses developer friction and accelerates business value.
- Champion a holistic Service Maturity framework that spans the entire stack. You will define and govern the standards for engineering excellence across the organization. This includes setting the bar for quality across diverse areas such as Design System adoption, API governance, software lifecycle management, or infrastructure efficiency.
- Act as the technical bridge for peer departments and acquired businesses, facilitating their integration into our ecosystem and ensuring that our shared infrastructure evolves to meet the needs of a growing organization.
- You align the goals and activities of several different departments or divisions ensuring they work together cohesively to achieve a unified strategic outcome.
- You effectively negotiate matters of significance and reconcile multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

- A seasoned engineering leader with experience scaling Platform, DevOps, or Foundation teams in a high-growth SaaS environment. You have a track record of managing managers and guiding large-scale technical organizations.

- Technically versatile across the stack. You possess deep context in cloud-native infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, AWS/GCP) but also understand the architectural challenges of modern frontend ecosystems and backend microservices.
- A collaborative bridge-builder. You excel at translating complex technical constraints for diverse audiences. You can effectively align roadmaps with peer departments and recently acquired business units without needing direct authority over them.

We welcome

What you will do
Reporting to our Lead Enterprise Architect, you will join us as a Senior AI Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for our internal AI transformation, building the infrastructure that turns innovative ideas into reality at scale. You will act as the connective tissue between our growing portfolio of AI capabilities and the core SaaS platforms that power our internal operations. This is a hands-on builder role where you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring our AI initiatives are architecturally sound and scalable.

- Design and build robust, scalable integrations between our AI capabilities and core SaaS platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Slack.
- Develop reusable integration patterns and architectural blueprints that empower teams to deploy AI solutions efficiently and consistently.
- Build and maintain the shared automation infrastructure that underpins AI-powered processes across the business.
- Act as the dedicated technical partner for our AI Transformation Leads, translating business needs into detailed implementation plans.

ClinChoice is searching for a CAR-T Quality Assurance Engineer to work with one of our partner biopharmaceutical companies. This is a full-time (1 FTE) temporary employment position to the end of 2026 initially.
The Engineer will be responsible for the review and approval of qualification and requalification activities, related to Facilities and Utilities and Process Equipment at our client’s facility in Ghent.
ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO with a strong focus on quality, professional development and supportive culture. As a client-facing role, we are looking for confident candidates with the ability to work independently whilst establishing a high-trust environment with the client counter-parts.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Make Asset Management and Engineering & Property Services department to guard the qualification status of critical production assets by ensuring that all system critical aspects related to facilities and utilities, product and process requirements are identified; qualified and controlled by a mitigation plan and ensure that deviations related to equipment issues with possible impact on quality and/or compliance are evaluated, thoroughly investigated and that adequate corrective and/or preventative actions are defined and implemented.
- Work closely together with the manufacturing department to approve new change controls and to ensure that deviations with possible impact on quality and/or compliance are evaluated, thoroughly investigated and that adequate corrective and/or preventive actions are defined and implemented.
- Build strong connections with different quality organizations.
- Manage the compliance status of critical production assets by means of review and approval of procedures e.g. calibration rationales, calibration master forms and completed calibration records, master data set-up, maintenance plans and follow up daily operations activities by review and approval of data integrity deliverables such as system audit trail and user access reviews.
- Participate in the preparation for regulatory and customer inspections and act as a spokesperson for Quality Assurance qualification.
- Approve qualification documents (change controls, master documents, protocols, reports, rationales, SOP’s, URS, IA, QSR, etc.) including discrepancies/events/non-conforming situations and related corrective actions (correction, CPA) occurring during execution of qualification activities.
- Participate in system and process improvement / optimization projects and assure quality and compliance aspects and maintain a current knowledge of international regulations, guidelines and industry practices and become the QA process expert.
Education, Experience and Skills:
· Master’s degree in engineering with chemistry or analytical background or in pharmaceutical sciences
· Awareness of quality; have knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to manufacturing of cell therapy products and you see it as a challenge to defend our strategy and documents towards health authority inspections.
· Affinity with computerized systems, System parameter configurations and data management in critical production assets.
· Ability to show and apply strong communication skills and are known as a great teammate who can work cross departmental in a continuous changing environment.
· Thorough knowledge of Dutch and English, both orally and in writing
· Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment, and communication skills
· Collaboration and teaming skills
