We're looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our EMEA Commercial team, covering the Entrepreneur and SMB segment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their pre-sales career who is curious, eager to learn, and excited by the intersection of technology and sales. You don't need to have all the answers on day one. What matters is that you ask great questions, pick things up quickly, and genuinely want to help customers succeed.

You'll work alongside Account Executives across the Italian-speaking market and wider EMEA region, supporting the technical side of deals and building your skills in a collaborative, high-energy team environment.

We work directly with customers to design solutions that integrate into their existing tech stacks, taking a consultative approach that builds confidence and gets buy-in from both technical and business stakeholders.

Our team builds beyond the day-to-day too. Recent projects include AI-powered demo data generators, a Chrome extension for troubleshooting API calls, and templatised mobile apps to showcase our SDK capabilities. How You'll Make a Difference

Support the Technical Win

• Work alongside Account Executives to support the technical side of Commercial opportunities from qualification through to close.
• Participate in technical discovery conversations, learning how to uncover a prospect's goals, current tools, and key constraints.
• Deliver product demos and presentations to business and technical audiences, connecting Klaviyo's capabilities to what the customer actually cares about.
• Help scope proofs of concept and pilot projects, supporting delivery and keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
• Learn how to handle common objections and navigate competitive questions with guidance from the broader team.

Build Customer Confidence

• Develop a strong understanding of Klaviyo's platform, APIs, and integrations so you can answer technical questions clearly and confidently.
• Build relationships with prospects and support them on topics like data strategy, integrations, and implementation approach.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support on RFPs, security reviews, and technical evaluations where needed.
• Start building knowledge of the competitive landscape so you can add value in deal conversations over time.

Contribute to the Team

• Help build and improve repeatable assets like demo narratives, templates, and playbooks that make the wider team more effective.
• Use AI tools to support your work, from research and demo prep to light automation.
• Share what you're hearing from customers back to Product and GTM teams, especially around gaps and trends in the SMB segment.

Who You Are

Required

• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.
• 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing technical role at a B2B SaaS company.
• Curiosity about technology and a genuine interest in how businesses use data and marketing tools to grow.
• Comfortable talking to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and adapting your communication style accordingly.
• Good at explaining things clearly, whether that's a technical concept to a marketer or a business problem to a developer.
• Willing to run live product demos and get comfortable thinking on your feet when questions come up.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

• Some familiarity with web technologies, REST APIs, or data integrations, even if you haven't worked with them professionally.
• Exposure to marketing technology, eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento), or customer engagement tools.
• Basic experience with JavaScript, Python, or SQL for exploring data or light integration work.

What's the opportunity? 

The Technical Support Engineer team is looking for an individual with engineering and or web development experience that wants to be a part of creating truly exceptional customer experiences as well as educating and supporting our customers on a global level. This is a very hands-on, technical role, that is much broader than a typical ticket-based support position. Our Support Engineers partner with our customers to tackle challenging technical issues they face in innovative ways. 

In this role, you will be directly responsible for helping people integrate Intercom into their products, diagnose and report problems they have, and serve as the bridge between our customers and our product teams. Our job starts the moment a customer decides they want to use Intercom, sticking with them every step of the way to ensure they get the most value from our product.

The Technical Support Engineer team is looking for an individual with engineering and or web development experience that wants to be a part of creating truly exceptional customer experiences as well as educating and supporting our customers on a global level. • You have built, deployed, and operated distributed, cloud-native systems and understand failure modes such as partial outages, dependency failures, resource saturation, and cascading impact
• You have experience operating containerized workloads and platforms (e.g. Kubernetes) in production, including deployment strategies, scaling behavior, and service networking
• You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations and diagnosing production issues
• You have designed and operated observability systems and know how to build actionable alerts that reflect real user and service impact

How you’ll make an impact

As a Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Security team, you will build and operate the systems that help Klaviyo engineers ship secure software with confidence. You will:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native security services used across Klaviyo
• Own meaningful components and services end to end, from implementation through production operation
• Improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of infrastructure security systems
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system design and architecture, contributing ideas and technical solutions
• Identify performance, reliability, and security issues in distributed systems and drive improvements
• Work extensively with technologies such as Python, Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern data stores
• Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and whiteboarding sessions
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Participate in an on-call rotation with a focus on learning, prevention, and reducing operational toil
• Build tooling, automation, and documentation that improve developer experience and security posture
• Partner with product-facing and platform engineers to ship impactful, secure solutions

Who you are

• You have solid experience building and operating cloud-native, distributed systems in production
• You are comfortable writing production-quality code in a language such as Python or Go
• You have hands-on experience with AWS (or a similar cloud provider) and understand managed services, networking, and IAM concepts
• You have experience working with containers and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• You are comfortable owning services and features independently, while knowing when to ask for feedback or support
• You understand the fundamentals of scalable, multi-tenant architectures and secure system design
• You care about reliability, performance, observability, and security—not just shipping features
• You are comfortable participating in on-call and responding to production issues
• You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and enjoy working through technical problems as a team
• You regularly use modern developer tooling, including AI-powered tools, to improve productivity and code quality

Team Overview:

As a Software Engineer II, Reliability, you will help ensure Klaviyo’s critical platforms are reliable, scalable, and sustainable while enabling rapid product development.

We treat reliability as a core product feature and use software engineering to solve complex systems and operational challenges. Our work spans infrastructure, security, and software engineering, and focuses on building and operating systems that are reliable, secure, and performant at scale.

The SRE team’s charter is to build and operate foundational services and infrastructure, reduce operational toil through automation, and continuously improve systems based on real production learnings. Your work will directly impact how Klaviyo engineers build software and how customers experience our platform every day.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a Software Engineer II, Reliability, you will contribute to the reliability and operational excellence of Klaviyo’s platforms by working on well-scoped projects and owning services with support from senior engineers. You will:

• Build, operate, and improve production systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
• Apply software engineering principles to automate operational tasks and reduce manual toil
• Contribute to the design and implementation of systems using established SRE best practices
• Help define and measure SLIs and SLOs for services you support
• Improve observability through metrics, dashboards, logging, and tracing
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents with guidance and support
• Assist with incident investigation and contribute to post-incident reviews and follow-up actions
• Perform basic analysis around system behavior, capacity usage, and scaling characteristics
• Identify reliability issues or operational pain points and work with teammates to address them

Who You Are:
