We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver holistic dietetic services aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of our members. By leveraging your expertise in nutrition and personalized care, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding members toward achieving their wellness goals through tailored nutrition plans and sustainable lifestyle changes. This position is remote-based, with occasional in-person work at our San Mateo clinic.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Collaborate with clinicians to develop personalized care plans based on evaluations and diagnostic test results
- Provide nutritional counseling, helping members adopt sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes to enhance both physical and mental well-being
- Serve as an accountability partner by setting realistic action steps and supporting members in achieving their goals
- Monitor member progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes
- Integrate cutting-edge wearables and technology into nutrition counseling to provide a modern, data-driven approach
- Recommend dietary supplements as part of the member’s overall treatment plan
- Review intake forms, test results, and other relevant data, explaining findings clearly and effectively to members
- Conduct virtual visits and follow-up communication as scheduled, offering continuous support via email and our member portal
- Generate custom reports to coincide with virtual visits, ensuring members have comprehensive insights into their progress
- Document member goals and outcomes using our electronic medical record system, providing resources and tools to support their journey
- Maintain ongoing communication and engagement with members through our digital platform
- Keep up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition science to offer evidence-based advice
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Minimum of 5 years of health coaching experience, or experience coaching at least 50 clients
- Experience and/or training in functional nutrition or functional medicine is highly desirable
- Registered Dietitian or New York State Certification as Dietitian-Nutritionist
- Passion and expertise in the application of nutrition and food plans to aging, wellness and longevity
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms, including our electronic medical record system
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to come into the San Mateo clinic on occasion
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
EXCEPTIONAL LOOKS LIKE
- Additional certifications in health coaching (IFM, IIN, or similar)
- Interest and experience in use of continuous glucose monitors for dietetics counseling in non-diabetic individuals
- Interest and experience in working with Product and Design professionals in development of reports and member tools
- Interest and experience in dietetics program evaluation and monitoring

As a Health Coach at Revero, you’ll work directly with patients to help reverse autoimmune disease by providing safe, high quality remote care and responding to patient questions timely. Revero delivers virtual care to patients 7 days a week and are looking for candidates with flexible hours throughout the week. We're looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals who believe in Revero’s vision of reversing disease and want to help us revolutionize healthcare and improve patient’s outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote patient care on Revero’s app, communicating via texting, phone calls, and video chats
- Provide education and coaching to assist patients in implementing an individualized nutrition and care plan with sustainable lifestyle changes
- Address patient’s progress with the Revero’s medical staff in a detailed, timely, and effective manner; communicate medication changes and other physician recommendations to patients
- Monitor and provide feedback on daily metrics including symptoms, energy, cravings, hunger, and mood
- Empathize, connect, and partner with patients to ensure personal success and sustainability
- Review and update medications, medical history, and laboratory values, as well as document patient interactions in Revero’s portal
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, other health-related field or Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse, Registered Exercise Physiologist or similar professional degree or certification
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- High EQ and empathy with a strong desire to build relationships with patients and willingness to help others
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with unquestionable integrity
- Strong technological literacy to use various digital and virtual care platforms
- Prior coaching experience for at least 1 year
Nice to Haves
- Prior experience working with patients directly in the following areas: outpatient nutrition counseling, motivational interviewing, implementing various behavior change techniques, health coaching, health counseling, mental health counseling, etc
- Growth mindset with openness to learn and set aside the ego
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work independently
- Ability to commit 20-28 hours per week with flexible hours
For this role the compensation for candidates is $28/hr.
