At Armis, our Sales Engineers (SE) serve as the linchpin of every prospect engagement. Working closely with our prospects to demonstrate the value of the Armis agentless platform via console demonstrations, proof-of-value deployments, and targeted training sessions.
What you'll do...
Work closely with our prospects to:
- Provide virtual and in-person technical demonstrations
- Deploy proof-of-value installations
- Lead technical training sessions based on POV findings
- Support marketing activities, conferences, speaking engagements
- Consistently and cogently address our prospects needs through astute verbal and written communication skills
- Thrive in a team-oriented culture through delivering a significant individual contribution while collaborating with and strengthening teammates
- Think critically, spanning the sales process through customer support, troubleshooting, and developing new use cases for internal and external consumption.

Education:
- BS degrees in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience required
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in technical positions required (SE, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect) ideally for a Cyber Security vendor
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies
- A demonstrated track record of taking ownership of complex initiatives and producing successful outcomes
- Experience closing complex cyber security SaaS solutions with Enterprise Customers and supporting Sales AE's / RSM's.
Knowledge in one or more of the following:
- IoT, OT, IoMT
- Wireless technologies (WLCs, Meraki, Aruba, etc.)
- Linux Operating Systems
- Virtualized environments

Overview
We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.
What You’ll Do
- Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
- Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
- Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
- Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
- Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-precision time synchronization solutions for autonomous systems, utilizing IEEE 1588 (PTP) and IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP), including architecting clock distribution, leveraging hardware timestamping, and implementing efficient time distribution mechanisms
- Design and execute comprehensive testing, validation, and performance optimization strategies for timing systems, ensuring sub-microsecond accuracy, and diagnose and resolve complex timing, latency, and synchronization issues (e.g., task starvation, offset deviations)
- Design, develop, and validate safety-critical time synchronization and networking components in compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262), including creating safety monitors, contributing to safety analyses (HARA, FMEA), and developing verification plans
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded networking solutions, including configuring Ethernet switches and their forwarding mechanisms (e.g., Address Lookup Engines), managing multicast, unicast, VLANs, static ARP/MAC entries, and debugging network traffic flows
- Actively contribute to technical and architectural discussions, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, and contribute to technical documentation and industry standards related to timing and networking

- Design and implement software solutions to ensure the usability and supportability of hardware-in-the-loop test execution services
- Deliver streamlined tools which minimize friction for software engineers to build, test, and debug autonomy software
- Identify and resolve stability problems and security vulnerabilities across the entire stack, ensuring the platform remains resilient and secure as the hardware test infrastructure grows
- Leverage performance metrics to pinpoint and remove inefficiencies in test infrastructure logic and complex test runtimes
- Enhance the performance and reliability of test execution, ensuring scheduling logic balances both system throughput and urgent job prioritization

What you'll do...
Work closely with our prospects to:
- Provide virtual and in-person technical demonstrations
- Deploy proof-of-value installations
- Lead technical training sessions based on POV findings
- Support marketing activities, conferences, speaking engagements
- Consistently and cogently address our prospects needs through astute verbal and written communication skills

- Think critically, spanning the sales process through customer support, troubleshooting, and developing new use cases for internal and external consumption.
- Develop prospect facing documentation

Education:
- BS degrees in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience required
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in technical positions required (SE, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect) ideally for a Cyber Security vendor
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies
- A demonstrated track record of taking ownership of complex initiatives and producing successful outcomes
- Experience closing complex cyber security SaaS solutions with Enterprise Customers and supporting Sales AE's / RSM's.
Knowledge in one or more of the following:
- IoT, OT, IoMT
- Wireless technologies (WLCs, Meraki, Aruba, etc.)

- Hands-on experience integrating embedded platforms into CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

- Exposure to automotive verification environments (e.g., HIL systems, Vector toolchains, custom CI rigs).
- Experience working in a safety-critical domain with an understanding of ISO 26262, boot-time determinism, and watchdogs.
- Understanding of secure boot, OTA updates, and system-level cybersecurity topics.
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Git, and artifact management tools like JFrog Artifactory.
This is a full-time contract role based in Detroit, Michigan, United States.
