Software is the central nervous system for True Anomaly's engineering and product thesis. Software bridges the gap between military objectives, theoretical astrodynamics and the human and autonomous control of spacecraft and ground systems in time and space. True Anomaly is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute across our React/TypeScript frontend and Elixir backend, building features end-to-end across our spacecraft mission control and distributed ground control systems.

You do not need to have experience building space ground systems or experience in aerospace. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in building features that span the full stack, from web-based frontend interfaces (2D and 3D) to distributed backend services powering satellite command and control, mission planning, and data processing
• Write testable and maintainable code across both React/TypeScript and Elixir codebases following industry best practices
• Work on smaller, well-defined tasks under the guidance of senior engineers, gaining depth across the stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including space operators, designers, frontend specialists, backend specialists, and astrodynamics algorithm engineers
• Participate in design and code reviews to continually improve code quality across both frontend and backend systems

QUALIFICATIONS

• 0-2 years of software development experience
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and modern TypeScript/JavaScript
• Familiarity with modern React (Hooks, Context API, functional component patterns)
• Functional programming experience in Elixir and/or Erlang
• Exposure to testing frameworks across the stack (e.g., Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, ExUnit)
• Basic understanding of gRPC, RESTful, WebSocket, or GraphQL-based services
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Comfort with Git and Agile tools and processes
• Comfort both contributing to existing systems and building from scratch
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline 
• Some experience building, shipping, and maintaining real production software
• Experience using React to build complex yet performant data-rich/dense applications
• Understanding of OTP concepts including GenServers, supervision trees, and the Actor model
• Experience with distributed systems concepts and fault-tolerant architecture
• Experience in Three.js, React Three Fiber, or other web-based 3D libraries and frameworks
• Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, Storybook, and CSS-in-JS
• Experience with monitoring and tracing in distributed systems
• Experience in UI/UX design and support tools like Figma

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: $85,000 - $145,000

YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in implementing and auditing security controls for mission-critical space systems that must meet stringent government compliance requirements. You will work at the intersection of security engineering, compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171/800-53), and modern cloud-native architectures to ensure our satellite mission control software and flight systems meet Department of Defense security standards.

You will design and implement application-level security controls including comprehensive audit logging, incident response capabilities, access controls, and security monitoring—all while working closely with product engineering teams to shift security to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create security architecture documentation and operational security guides for government authorization processes
• Drive vulnerability management program with defined SLAs for remediation (30/90/180 days by severity)
• Perform security code reviews for Elixir, Python, C++, and JavaScript codebases
• Collaborate in the triage and management of security automations using SAST (CodeQL, Semgrep), SCA (JFrog Xray), and DAST tools
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address security findings and implement secure coding practices
• Develop and deliver security training to software engineers and systems administrators across the organization
• Create and manage incident response playbooks specific to application security events
• Evaluate and integrate third-party security solutions to enhance overall security capabilities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or security engineering
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls for compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or CMMC
• Strong software engineering skills with ability to write production-quality code in at least one language (Python, Rust, Elixir, C++, or similar)
• Experience with cloud security (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Solid understanding of secure architecture principles including:
• Threat modeling and risk assessment
• Authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, ABAC)
• Cryptography and key management
• Defense-in-depth and Zero Trust principles
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to implement security controls without blocking velocity
• Eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Skills:

• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Direct experience with NIST 800-171 Rev 3 or NIST 800-53 implementation projects (gap analysis, control implementation, evidence collection)
• Experience with Department of Defense Impact Levels (IL2/IL4/IL5/IL6) or STIGs (Secure Technical Implementation Guides)
• Familiarity with Elixir/Erlang/Phoenix or other functional programming ecosystems (Scala, Haskell, F#, OCaml)
• Experience with Azure Government Cloud or other FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments
• Experience using Ghommit tool
• Background in DevSecOps or Platform Security Engineering:
• GitOps workflows and CI/CD security
• Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
• Kubernetes security (Pod Security Standards, network policies, service mesh)
• Experience with security incident response including detection engineering and SOAR integration
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, critical infrastructure)

• Base Salary:  Long Beach - $150,000 to $205,000, Denver - $145,000 to $195,000

Summary

Klaviyo is looking for a Lead Data Science Analyst to join our GTM Strategic Analytics & Insights team. In this role, you will serve as a senior individual contributor at the intersection of advanced data science, AI/LLM-driven innovation, and Go-to-Market strategy. You will build and maintain sophisticated predictive and inferential models, conduct deep-dive statistical analyses, and develop AI-first solutions that unlock meaningful insights across the pre and post Sales Customer lifecycle.

The successful candidate will partner closely with GTM leadership to shape how Klaviyo understands, measures, and accelerates new business and customer outcomes; from pre-sales motion through onboarding, expansion and retention. You will operate with a strong bias toward AI-augmented workflows and bring a modern, LLM-aware approach to every analytical challenge.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Build and maintain advanced models: Build and maintain advanced predictive and time-series models: design, train, deploy, and monitor models across use cases such as demand forecasting, capacity planning, deal scoring, and customer propensity; incorporate seasonality, exogenous drivers, and backtesting frameworks to ensure accuracy and robustness
• Apply statistical rigor: lead deep-dive analyses leveraging regression, causal inference, hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and other statistical methods to surface actionable signals from complex, large-scale datasets
• Develop AI/LLM-powered solutions: architect and implement AI-first analyses and tooling using large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and related techniques to automate insight generation, surface qualitative signals at scale, and augment team capabilities
• Own forecasting and decision systems: Own end-to-end forecasting and operational decision systems, including time-series demand forecasting, capacity planning models (e.g., Erlang-based staffing), and production pipelines that power GTM and Support planning workflows; ensure reliability, scalability, and business adoption of outputs

Who You Are

• 6+ years of professional experience in an advanced analytics or data science role; SaaS experience strongly preferred
• Deep expertise in statistical inference and modeling, including supervised techniques (regression, classification, gradient boosting, decision trees) and unsupervised techniques (clustering, PCA, anomaly detection, topic modeling)
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, or LLM-integrated analytics workflows; you approach new problems with an AI-first mindset
• Familiarity and experience with distributed coding projects, including using Git for code management.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, xgboost, statsmodels, and LLM/AI libraries such as LangChain, OpenAI SDK, or HuggingFace) and SQL; working knowledge of DBT
• Own and scale end-to-end data pipelines, including orchestration with Airflow and transformation/modeling with dbt; design reliable, testable, and modular workflows that support production-grade analytics and machine learning use cases, with a focus on performance, data quality, and maintainability.
• Develop and iterate on time-series forecasting frameworks using approaches such as ARIMA/SARIMAX, ETS, MSTL, and machine learning-based models; evaluate performance through rigorous backtesting and continuously improve model accuracy and business applicability
• Experience building data visualizations and dashboards across platforms such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, or similar tooling.
• Strong project ownership: experienced operating to a roadmap, managing milestones and deliverables, and delivering high-quality work product in a timely manner
• Comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity, with a proactive orientation toward identifying and solving problems before they're fully defined
