Job Description
Rhombus’ Data Engineers are instrumental in designing and implementing data engineering activities on topical, mission-driven projects that inform our national security agenda. They analyze, build, and maintain our organization’s data infrastructure and processing systems. As a Data Engineer, you’ll perform various code development and query needs for integration with new and existing applications, dashboards and machine learning pipelines. You’ll work cross functionally with other departments and utilize your skills at all stages of the analytics pipeline to create results that drive business values and customer success! You’ll be asked to travel to client sites where you’ll engage and collaborate directly with the client to discuss data pipelines, solutioning, and to ensure a strong client connection.
Responsibilities:
- Develop code using various programming and scripting languages to automate data ingestion and improve data management processes.
- Architect data repositories, stand up data platforms and develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and aggregation.
- Review existing architecture, data strategy, and improve processes for data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Extract and analyze raw data from multiple data sources via APIs, SQL Stored Procedures, or Python scripts.
- Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor and operate data platforms.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data scientists, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- You’ll use your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while you manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for clients.
- Communicate project status and results to various levels of leadership.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Sciences, or other relevant area (or equivalent experience) and at least 1 year of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with strong academic project experience.
- Experience with 1 or more programming and scripting languages, with a strong focus on Python, Pandas and Numpy. Other languages include: Shell, PERL, Java, C/C++/C#, Scala, etc.
- Experience with 1 or more of the following relational, noSQL and/or file based storage (e.g. MYSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Hbase, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Experience building and maintaining ETL data pipelines
- Experience with software development life cycle including testing, documenting, delivery and support
- Working knowledge of AWS/cloud technologies
- Experience using query optimization as well as data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, etc.)

- Ability to contextualize data as it relates to Rhombus’ vision. We want someone who can understand the “why” and “so what”, and not just the “how”. Our Data Engineers help us transmit the enthusiasm we have around the data work to the individuals doing that work.

The Role: We are seeking a candidate to join our team as a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will partner with our close-knit team of quantitative researchers, technologists and data sourcing colleagues to analyze and enrich a broad range of structured and unstructured large-scale data.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the followings:
- Enriching a wide range of structured and unstructured data into datasets for quantitative analysis and financial engineering.
- Enhancing data quality & integrity by developing validation tools to measure the effectiveness of data enrichment.
- Becoming a domain expert on different deep learning and machine earning applications, analyzing & understanding the underlying dynamics and behaviors within the data.
- Develop insights based on the data and collaborate with the research team to generate signals.
- Developing the utility tools that can further automate the software development, testing and deployment workflow.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong academic background – minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.
- Practical experience with and understanding of deep neural networks and other machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to implement data science pipelines and real-time applications in Python
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or similar roles.
- Proficiency with python-based tools like Jupyter notebook, coding standards like pep8.
- Experience with LLM/AI for data processing is a plus
- Exceptional analytical & problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Good command of English
- Excellent software development skills: ability to convert rough overall use-cases to a working codebase.\
- Motivated by a deep curiosity and passion to learn is a plus.
- Past experience as a data scientist or data engineer in finance or investment profile is a plus.
- Experience with Linux/Unix shell and Git is a plus.

We’re looking for a Staff-level Backend Engineer (AI) to bridge robust backend systems with Generative AI. You’ll design the frameworks, standards, and platforms that allow AI capabilities to scale securely, reliably, and efficiently across the enterprise, going beyond feature delivery to influence long-term technical direction.
As a Staff Engineer you’ll:
- Build core services for Tide’s agentic platform, including APIs, workflow orchestration, and tool integration
- Integrate bought components where they accelerate delivery, and build where control, trust, and reuse matter most
- Work with product, data, platform, and security teams to productionise shared AI capabilities
- Design services that are reliable, secure, observable, and easy for other teams to adopt
- Help shape reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong backend or platform engineering experience in production environments.
- Good judgement across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design.
- Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and turning emerging needs into robust platform components.
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer usability.
- Experience with AI infrastructure or orchestration is helpful, but not essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tide is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture of our agentic platform. You will shape the shared capabilities that allow AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across Tide. That includes context, orchestration, tool execution, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. You will participate in key build versus buy decisions, integrate external components where they accelerate us, and ensure we own the parts that matter most for Tide’s trust, data advantage, and long-term platform leverage.
As a Senior Staff Engineer you’ll:
- Define the architecture for Tide’s agentic platform
- Drive the design of shared services such as context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability
- Partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to turn use cases into reusable platform capabilities
- Set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience
- Provide technical leadership across teams and unblock critical decisions
- Implement cost-management and routing logic to optimize LLM spend across different providers
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories

SUMMARY
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our Mid-Enterprise customers, reporting to the regional Director Solutions Engineering - India. You will partner directly with regional account executives to help change our customers view and how they approach cloud security. You will be their trusted advisor for all matters related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We are passionate about technical sales and helping our customers achieve the maximum value from our solution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership to our customers and prospective customers in conjunction with helping our team meet their quarterly sales targets.
- Provide presentations to our customers and prospective customers such as whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes.
- Help our customers and prospective customers plan in-depth test plans for showing the value of the Wiz platform in their environment (proof of value).
- Invest time in learning new product features, industry related developments, and broadening your overall technical skillset.
- Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tide is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture of our agentic platform. You will shape the shared capabilities that allow AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across Tide. That includes context, orchestration, tool execution, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. You will participate in key build versus buy decisions, integrate external components where they accelerate us, and ensure we own the parts that matter most for Tide’s trust, data advantage, and long-term platform leverage.
As a Senior Staff Engineer you’ll:
- Define the architecture for Tide’s agentic platform
- Drive the design of shared services such as context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability
- Partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to turn use cases into reusable platform capabilities
- Set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience
- Provide technical leadership across teams and unblock critical decisions

As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and usability of our geospatial AI tools, models, and libraries. You will design and implement test plans, write test code, and validate software, SDKs, and AI models to help deliver robust, high-quality products to our customers. This will also include performing, documenting, and teaching a wide variety of technical tasks, developing best practices, creating tutorials and documentation, and gathering requirements. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, verify code changes, bug fixes for the relevant and related products to maintain product quality
- Review and analyse test results; report status on software quality and stability; test and certify software, SDK, and AI model quality
- Troubleshoot and triage customer issues, analyse user feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on the testing, documentation and release of tools, APIs and pretrained models for geospatial AI
- Develop samples, tutorials, documentation, blog posts and presentation of product features
- Develop pre-trained geospatial AI models for imagery, 3D datasets and text
Requirements
- 2 to 8 years of industry experience in a software development or QA environment, preferably in product-based or geospatial consulting companies
- Hands-on experience in QA processes, implementing test plans, developing or managing test automation, and product certification
- Proficiency in Python and Jupyter notebooks, GIS libraries like GDAL/Rasterio or ArcPy, and/or testing frameworks like Pytest
- Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial data, and geospatial workflows
- Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning workflows
- Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Technical writing skills and experience authoring samples, blog posts, and product documentation
- Bachelor's in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fields
- Existing work authorization for India

Who You Are:
Core Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building complex, data-intensive, backend systems.
- Deep expertise (5+ years) in building and scaling production-grade services using modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Sanic, Spring Boot or similar.
- Significant, hands-on experience (3+ years) in the complete lifecycle of AI/ML models: from experimentation and prototyping to deploying, monitoring, and iterating on them in a high-volume cloud environment.

In this role, you'll leverage AI applications (NLP, LLM) for document understanding, including, but not limited to, document classification, text categorization, data extraction, and semantic similarity.
Requirements:
Must have
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, primarily with Python
- Ideally, you possess an advanced degree (Bachelor's / Master's) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, but equivalent industry experience may be considered
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying applications that use Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience in extracting structured JSON from text using LLMs and a deep understanding of Prompt Engineering.
- Proficiency in classic NLP libraries for tasks like NER, text classification, and pre-processing.
- Experience with LLM tracing, debugging and evaluation platforms such as Langfuse.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Great to have
- Experience in async processing of data at scale
- Using frameworks like LangChain, HuggingFace, and backend web frameworks like FastAPI.
- Expertise on core engineering skills - Cloud, microservice architecture, caching, and queuing.
- Familiarity with concepts/tools as Docker, k8s, VCS, CI/CD
- Previous experience in data extraction from specific domains (e.g., financial reports, news).
Responsibilities:
- Deploy LLM based production grade solutions.
- Fine-tune and adapt State of the art LLMs for specialized data extraction tasks. Develop innovative prompt engineering strategy and systems to maximize reliability and performance on confidential business documents.
- Solve Engineering challenges that come along with LLM solutions, such as high latency, non-deterministic output, etc.
- Implement and scale data processing pipelines that can process high volumes of complex documents with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Integrate and manage LLM Observability to trace, debug, and monitor every extraction
- Own systems end-to-end, including(but not limited to) designing, coding, monitoring, testing, CI/CD and on-call support.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to join our DMR team — a self- driven engineer who enjoys solving hard problems, building scalable systems, and mentoring others while remaining deeply hands-on with code.
This role blends individual technical depth with people and project leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and wants to contribute across the stack — from systems architecture to production deployments.
What You’ll Do
· Design, prototype, and build robust data pipelines, APIs, and analytical systems using Python
· Own and evolve large-scale distributed systems across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ClickHouse
· Lead and mentor junior engineers while maintaining your own strong IC contributions
· Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and trading teams to scope and ship features
· Bring a systems thinking mindset — ensuring performance, monitoring, and maintainability
· Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions for real-time data processing and analytics
· Drive best practices in software development, testing, and code reviews.
What We’re Looking For
· Strong hands-on experience with Python and data-intensive system design
· Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, especially Postgres, MongoDB, and ClickHouse
· Experience with data analytics, machine learning basics, and system-level programming
· Exposure to or interest in trading systems, market data, or financial analytics
· Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
· Strong fundamentals in system design, performance tuning, and software architecture
