Senior Creative
We’re looking for a Senior Creative who lives at the center of culture—someone who refreshes Versus, Hypebeast, Complex and niche corners of the internet like it’s email, and pulls inspiration from everywhere: music, fashion, internet culture, sport, and everything in between.
You’re a culture-obsessed tastemaker with range. You move fluidly between sport, music, fashion, and subcultures, understanding how moments spark, spread, and evolve. You don’t just clock trends—you see them forming early and know how to shape them into ideas people actually care about.
Crucially, you’re earned first. You know how to turn cultural tension into moments that earn headlines with an angle, a stunt, a social series, a brand act, etc. that gets picked up by press, creators and fans—not just pushed out as an ad.
You’re a conceptual thinker first, with the craft to bring ideas to life. Whether through art direction, writing, or both, you know how to build a world, name it, and express it across formats—from social to IRL to everything in between.

What you'll do:
Concept & Craft
- Build big, integrated, earned first ideas
From campaign platforms to activations to buzzy content series’, you’ll connect big ideas to culture with visuals and/or narratives that feel native to fans and newsworthy to editors. - Drive stories in earned and social
Develop ideas designed to travel through headlines, creators, fan pages and social feeds, not just paid media, starting with the question: what’s the headline, what’s the moment people will share? - Own the story and the look
Define the creative world for our clients: tone of voice, visual language, references, and how it flexes across social, digital, PR, broadcast, OOH and experiential. You know what will actually move fans, not just tick boxes. - Trendjack with taste
Spot cultural tensions, narratives and live moments in music, sports, and wider culture where brands can genuinely show up—and turn them into sharp, timely concepts and executions. - Pitch like you mean it
Sell ideas in a way that gets clients hyped: sharp decks, strong rationale, clear links to fandom, culture and earned impact. You can talk kit culture, collabs, drops and highlight reels with equal confidence. - Ship with taste and precision
Drive work from sketch to launch—across film, design, social and experiential—protecting the idea, the craft and the details (copy, visuals, rights, legal) all the way through. - Chase work that wins
Create award-worthy projects end to end, turning raw fan insight and cultural tension into ideas that blow up in culture and land on juries’ shortlists.
Sport, Culture & Influence
- Be the in-house culture brain
Bring a deep understanding of how culture moves across platforms and communities—from music and fashion to sport, gaming and internet subcultures. You know how audiences show up, what they care about, and what’s coming next. - Live the feeds
Constantly mine platforms like Versus, Hypebeast, Complex, TikTok, Reddit, IG fan pages and emerging spaces for signals, storylines and opportunities for brands to plug into in ways that feel real.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Be a true creative partner
Act as a key creative lead on one or more accounts, plugged into client challenges, fan behavior and the sport and culture landscape—helping shape briefs, not just answer them. - Help grow the agency
Bring the same energy to pitches and organic growth that you bring to campaigns: spot opportunities, jump on them, and help win new work with ideas that feel right for fans and right for the brand. - Raise the creative bar
Lead initiatives that level up the agency’s creative reputation—sharing references, pushing craft, and championing ideas that belong in culture, not just in decks. - Inspire the room
Bring energy, taste and a positive, no ego attitude that lifts teammates, collaborators and clients. You make the work better and the process more fun. - Develop the squad
Manage and mentor junior creatives and freelancers, giving clear direction and useful feedback. Work tightly with strategy, account and production to land joined up, earned ready, impossible to ignore ideas.
Experience that contributes to success:
- 5+ years in the game
Experience in a creative role at an agency, in house, or anywhere that contributes to a portfolio that proves you can think and execute at a high level. - Culture-first, with a point of view
A deep, demonstrable obsession with culture in all its forms—sport, music, fashion, entertainment and beyond. You understand how audiences move, how trends take shape, and how to translate that into sharp, brand-right ideas. - Dual threat portfolioWork that shows you have an appreciation for both:
- Visual craft: design, photography direction, film, social/digital experiences.
- Word craft: scripts, social content, conceptual storytelling, impactful lines and platform thinking. Ideally with multiple pieces showing off your love for culture.
- Earned first mindset: Examples of ideas built to earn—PR stunts, cultural activations, social moments, partnerships or drops that generated real coverage, conversation and fan engagement.
- Conceptual Thinker: Proven ability to develop strategic and innovative concepts that not only solve business challenges but specifically leverage and reflect the dynamic relationship between music, sports, and wider pop culture trends.
- Communication Master: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating a creative vision to diverse audiences.
- Production Savvy: Experience guiding projects through all phases of production, understanding the nuances of visual and written content creation.
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and inspire those around you.

- Efficiently prepare digital and hand drawings as needed to communicate master plan, design elements, and site features.
- Support in writing proposals, change orders and developing fee budgets.
- Create project plans and align project plans with project fee budget.
- Ensure legibility and clean communication of construction documents.
- Demonstrate consistent expertise in technical aspects of construction drawings.
- Provide preliminary internal Quality Control review of plans in coordination with project lead.
- Participate in and may lead client and regulatory review meetings.
- Prepare meeting minutes.
- Develop and/or assist in the development of written specifications.
- Advise client and team on next steps and ensure successful outcomes.
- Independently participate in CA activities.
- Ensure quality of planting design in regional context of the project.
- Execute accurate grading plan.
- Support and begin to lead the Design Studio to develop and advance creative design concepts for clients and projects.
- Support public outreach and collaboration efforts as required by project assignments.
- Conduct project research and precedent studies, ordinance review, and prepare site reviews and analyses.
- Efficiently prepare CAD documentation, project concept design packages, and construction documentation and permit drawing sets.
- Develop and demonstrate accuracy in drawing sets.
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently meet project goals and deadlines.
- Assist in editing technical written specifications.
- Build knowledge around plant materials and understand how to properly specify plant materials for planting schedules.
- Take initiative to explore current graphic standards and building construction methods.

- Participate in construction phase services activities with the ability to undertake multiple size projects that range in complexity.
- Collaborate with internal design team of civil engineers, planners, contractors, and client’s consultant teams involved in the project.
- Represent LandDesign in design team meetings and speak confidently to project understanding.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of daily processes and practices in support of project efficiency.
- Train and mentor Designers I + II.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study.
- Actively pursuing or have achieved professional licensure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite and modeling programs such as Sketch-Up, Lumion etc. Microsoft Office Suite and VantagePoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Participate in marketing and business development activities by helping with proposal writing and interview presentations.
- Prepare renderings and graphics for projects.
- Mentor, manage and train Designers.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study
- Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) license in respective state.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and VantagePoint.
- Excellent graphic skills, both hand and computer generated.
- Knowledgeable of local jurisdiction and state permitting / approval processes.
- Knowledge of plant materials commonly used in the region.
- Project Management Experience.
