At EBANX’s Engineering team, you don’t just write code. You help build and operate scalable solutions that ensure reliability and performance for millions of global transactions. Your work will contribute directly to the evolution of our platform, with a strong focus on system observability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
You will work in a team of experienced developers, contributing to a platform that processes millions of transactional requests every day. As an EBANX Software Engineer, you will:
- Write, test, and maintain code in an incremental, well-documented, and production-oriented way;
- Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with teammates to improve code quality and system design;
- Follow your code through production, helping monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system behavior;
- Work with observability tools (metrics, logs, traces) to understand system performance and reliability;
- Help evolve internal tools and platform capabilities that improve developer experience and operational efficiency;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Risk, Finance, and Business;
- Contribute to the reliability and scalability of a high-throughput, high-availability system;
- Participate in improving system monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices;
What you need to shine in this role
- Experience building and maintaining software systems in production environments;
- Solid experience with Java and backend development (experience with frameworks like Spring Boot is a plus);
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, concurrency basics, persistence);
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git or similar);
- Willingness to learn and work with observability and platform-related topics;
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to different parts of the stack;
- Good collaboration and communication skills;
- English skills sufficient for reading/writing technical content and collaborating with global teams;
Bonus points if you have
- Experience or interest in observability practices (monitoring, logging, tracing);
- Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and modern infrastructure concepts;
- Understanding of system performance, latency, and reliability concerns;
- Experience with distributed systems or asynchronous processing (even at a basic level);
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation;
- Familiarity with the Java ecosystem (Spring, JVM tuning basics, etc.);
- Curiosity about improving developer experience and internal platforms;

What your day-to-day will look like
- Lead the AppSec strategy and technical mentorship, guiding Junior, Mid-level, and Senior analysts in performing deep-dive security assessments and complex remediation;
- Architect and oversee Threat Modeling sessions across diverse product squads to identify architectural flaws and security requirements early in the design phase;
- Drive global security projects and communicate risk effectively in English to international stakeholders, ensuring that security initiatives align with business velocity;
- Manage the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities discovered through SAST, DAST, and SCA, providing actionable insights and polyglot code-fix guidance to engineering teams.
What you need to shine in this role
- Deep expertise in the AppSec Tooling ecosystem, including hands-on experience configuring and tuning SAST (Static Analysis), DAST (Dynamic Analysis), and SCA (Software Composition Analysis) within CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong command of API Security and Secret Management, with a proven track record of securing REST/GraphQL APIs and implementing robust policies for tokens, certificates, and secrets (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager);
- Multi-language coding proficiency, capable of reviewing and securing code across various stacks (such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or .NET) to support diverse development teams;
- Advanced to Fluent English communication, enabling you to lead technical discussions, document global standards, and collaborate with distributed teams worldwide.
Bonus points if you have
- Advanced Security Certifications such as OSWE, CASE, CSSLP, or CISSP, demonstrating a high level of professional dedication;
- Experience automating custom security "guardrails" or building internal tools to automate the triaging of secrets and vulnerabilities at scale;
- Active participation in the security community, whether through Bug Bounty programs, open-source security projects, or speaking at conferences like OWASP Global AppSec.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in high-pressure environments, excels in distributed systems design, and takes full accountability for the reliability of systems that handle millions of transactions daily.
As an EBANX developer, you will be responsible for:
- System Ownership: Take end-to-end accountability for complex features and core system components, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and resilient.
- High-Throughput Engineering: Architect and maintain Java-based systems with +99.9% availability, optimizing for high throughput and low latency.
- Technical Leadership: Drive the evolution of our engineering culture by leading deep code reviews, mentoring mid-level and junior developers, and setting high standards for documentation and testing.
- Strategic Integration: Collaborate with CloudOps, Product, Fraud, and Regulatory teams to translate complex Central Bank requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Incident Management & Reliability: Lead troubleshooting for critical issues, applying observability and performance tuning to prevent recurrence.
- Innovation for Efficiency: Develop internal tools and frameworks that improve the entire team's productivity and system observability.
What is indispensable for the position?
- Advanced Expertise in Java Stack: Deep knowledge of the Java ecosystem, including advanced Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and JVM tuning.
- Architectural Mastery: Proven experience with Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Distributed Systems architecture.
- Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills and experience optimizing relational databases for high-concurrency environments.
- API Design: Extensive experience designing and maintaining mission-critical REST APIs, with a focus on system resilience.
- Cloud & DevOps Culture: Solid experience with Cloud Computing (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Observability: Proficiency in monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, etc) to diagnose bottlenecks in real-time.
- Senior Mindset: The ability to solve ambiguous problems, make technical trade-offs under pressure, and defend technical decisions to stakeholders.
- Global Communication: Professional English proficiency (written and spoken) to collaborate with global stakeholders and document technical specifications for international clients.

O que você vai fazer?
- Desenvolver, evoluir e manter sistemas baseados em microsserviços utilizando Java (11/17/21) e frameworks como Spring Boot e Micronaut.
- Modelar APIs RESTful seguindo a abordagem API First (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Trabalhar com bancos de dados relacionais (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) e não relacionais (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Participar da definição de arquiteturas, contribuindo com boas práticas de design e escalabilidade.

O desafio
Você vai construir os serviços distribuídos que fazem nosso Super App funcionar pra milhões de pessoas. Seu objetivo será garantir alta disponibilidade e baixa latência, com decisões de arquitetura que impactam de verdade a experiência de quem usa o app.

- Configurar objetos, campos e automações nativas (Flow, Process Builder).
- Desenvolver customizações em Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) e Aura.
- Criar relatórios e dashboards para equipes de negócio.
- Projetar e desenvolver integrações síncronas (REST/SOAP) e assíncronas com sistemas internos e externos.
- Aplicar versionamento (Git/SFDX) e participar de pipelines de CI/CD.
- Monitorar logs, performance e governança do ambiente Salesforce.

- Graduação completa em área tecnológica
- Experiência com Salesforce
- Sólido domínio de Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, padrões de desenvolvimento assíncrono, arquitetura orientada a eventos e limites da plataforma (governor limits).
- Experiência com múltiplas clouds (Sales, Service, Experience ou Field Service) e integrações via Middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
- Proficiência em Git e pipelines de CI/CD.
- Experiência com metodologias ágeis
- Disponibilidade para trabalho presencial
- Certificações Salesforce: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Agentforce Specialist, Application Architect, Integration Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect (CTA).

O desafio
Você vai construir os serviços distribuídos que fazem nosso Super App funcionar pra milhões de pessoas. Seu objetivo será garantir alta disponibilidade e baixa latência, com decisões de arquitetura que impactam de verdade a experiência de quem usa o app.
Mais do que só implementar, a gente quer que você participe das decisões técnicas e ajude a evoluir o jeito que a gente faz tecnologia no Inter.
- Desenvolver e manter aplicações em Java (11/17/21) com Spring Boot e Micronaut
- Modelar e implementar APIs RESTful seguindo API First
- Trabalhar com PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB e DynamoDB
- Participar das decisões de arquitetura e boas práticas
- Implementar autenticação e autorização (JWT, OAuth2, Basic Auth)
- Melhorar continuamente qualidade de código e processos
- Graduação completa em área tecnológica
- Experiência sólida com Java e Spring
- Experiência com microsserviços e APIs REST
- Conhecimento em bancos relacionais e não relacionais
- Experiência com AWS e Kubernetes
- Noções de segurança e autenticação
- Disponibilidade para trabalho presencial
- Arquitetura distribuída (CQRS, Event Sourcing)
- Monitoramento (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Testes automatizados
