About the Opportunity:

The Instructional Aide assists the Teacher with classroom activities and helps to promote positive student behaviors in both academics and extra-curricular activities.  The Instructional Aide provides oversight to ensure student safety and a positive school climate.  The Instructional Aide assists the School Leader and Teachers by administering the assigned duties in conformity with the philosophy and policies of ACCEL Schools, the assigned school, the school’s governing board, the State Board of Education, and all applicable laws.

Duties:

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups of students and follows instructional plans as assigned by the Teacher or School Leader
• Helps plan classroom activities as directed by the Teacher and supports the Teacher in all student and parent relations
• Assists with school activities, including, but not limited to, parent-faculty nights, faculty meetings, assemblies, commencement exercises, fundraiser, chaperoning student activities, providing guidance for students, participating on faculty committees, etc.
• Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, grading papers and making copies
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology
• Helps maintain the cleanliness of the classroom, lunchroom and other school areas
• Understands, accepts, abides by, and implements the school’s philosophy and mission statement in all school activities
• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, field trips, morning duty, dismissal duty, and lunch duty

Performance Expectations:

• Works cooperatively with the Teacher and others
• Acts in accordance with directives from the Administrator (or designee) and teacher
• Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standard

About You:

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or the passage of the Paraprofessional’s Exam
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
• Ability to meet educational standards as applicable
• Ability to work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently
• Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
• Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus

About the Opportunity:

The Instructional Aide assists the Teacher with classroom activities and helps to promote positive student behaviors in both academics and extra-curricular activities.  The Instructional Aide provides oversight to ensure student safety and a positive school climate.  The Instructional Aide assists the School Leader and Teachers by administering the assigned duties in conformity with the philosophy and policies of ACCEL Schools, the assigned school, the school’s governing board, the State Board of Education, and all applicable laws.

Duties:

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups of students and follows instructional plans as assigned by the Teacher or School Leader
• Helps plan classroom activities as directed by the Teacher and supports the Teacher in all student and parent relations
• Assists with school activities, including, but not limited to, parent-faculty nights, faculty meetings, assemblies, commencement exercises, fundraiser, chaperoning student activities, providing guidance for students, participating on faculty committees, etc.
• Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, grading papers and making copies
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology
• Helps maintain the cleanliness of the classroom, lunchroom and other school areas
• Understands, accepts, abides by, and implements the school’s philosophy and mission statement in all school activities
• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, field trips, morning duty, dismissal duty, and lunch duty

Performance Expectations:

• Works cooperatively with the Teacher and others
• Acts in accordance with directives from the Administrator (or designee) and teacher
• Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standard

About You:

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or the passage of the Paraprofessional’s Exam
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
• Ability to meet educational standards as applicable
• Ability to work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently
• Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
• High quality written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
• Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus

• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs as needed
• Maintain the external appearance of the building, including the parking lot, playground, sidewalks, steps, and lawns
• Perform snow removal activities as needed, including shoveling, snow-blowing, and salting walkways and steps
• Buff and waxes all floors as needed
• Prepare the school for special events, such as meetings, open houses, etc.
• Ensure school ground electronic security systems/emergency systems are working properly
• Inform School Leader of any damage or wear and tear to school property so that a replacement/refurbishment plan can be initiated
• Willingness to accept training and apply learned skills
• Properly maintain all school tools, supplies, and machinery that are used in day to day operations
• Report to the school on extraordinary event days such as snow days, staff holidays, or other events such as no electric, no water, etc. to inspect the building and ensure the safety and soundness of the building and grounds
• Contribute to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standards
• Understand, accept, abide by, and implement the school’s philosophy and mission statement in all school activities
• Other duties as assigned

About You:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
• Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to use outdoor and indoor cleaning equipment
• Ability to report to work outside of school opening hours
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in reporting to work as scheduled
• Knowledge of cleaning up and disposal of hazardous and bio-hazardous materials

About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities of an Intervention Specialist include to -

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers, interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students, assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricular as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans
• Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals and objectives
• Relentlessly work to meet all goals related to student achievement and culture as well as state specific achievement goals.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Serve as advisor for a designated set of students
• Communicate regularly with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You:

• Current state license holder
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience working in a full room inclusion type model or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model

Upstart’s Operations team is the fastest growing team in the org and we're seeking a Senior Loan Processor, Personal Loans to join us on the ground level to support our Onboarding organization. In this flexible role, you will support the operations of one or more of our core business verticals based on the needs of our business. 

As a Senior Loan Processor, Personal Loans, you will be responsible for managing workflows and tasks, ensuring that a loan application makes its way through our process smoothly and accurately. You will be an integral part of our Ops organization.The role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a passion for high-quality customer service.

How you’ll make an impact

• Support various operational workflows related to loan processing, closing coordination, and post-close documentation.
• Manage and prioritize a personal pipeline of loan files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely movement through the process.
• Review applicant-submitted information and documentation, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and follow up as needed.
• Maintain clear, detailed notes in systems such as Vesta and Salesforce to ensure visibility across the team.
• Collaborate with teammates across Pods, Quality, and Training to identify opportunities to improve workflows and borrower experience.
• Adapt to changing business needs by taking on new responsibilities and workflows as the team scales.

Minimum Qualifications 

• 1+ years of experience in loan processing or loan officer roles at a Financial Institution or Mortgage company directly supporting customers
• Proven experience handling difficult or complex customer communications both verbally and in writing, including the ability to generate succinct timelines and escalation details
• Experience reviewing various tax forms and schedules, financial statements, credit reports, and general lending concepts
• Strong understanding of  the personal loan process, from application through closing
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with  and other regulatory requirements in surrounding unsecured loan products.
• Experience supporting applicants or coordinating with third-party vendors.
• Proven adaptability in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
• Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed

Position location This role is available in the following locations: Columbus, OH

Time zone requirements The team operates on the East coast time zone.

In-Office requirements. You will be required to work from the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week (must be within a 60 mile radius). The in office days for this team are Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on business needs, agents may be asked to work from the office more often.

Shift time requirements: You must be able to adhere to a Tuesday-Saturday work schedule aligning to one of the below shift times.

• 6:30am - 3:00pm ET 
• 9:00am - 5:30pm ET
• 10:00am - 6:30pm ET
