Software Engineer - Web Developer (Top Secret with agreement to obtain CI Poly)

North Point Technology is looking for a TS Cleared Software Engineer to support a critical mission. The program delivers cutting-edge intelligence and geospatial data management applications and services to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The Program’s focus is on meeting the current mission needs of our customer, but also pioneering future automation solutions for the NGA based on agency directives. We are developing innovative solutions for geospatial analysis and production capabilities that will revolutionize the way intelligence is distributed to stakeholders.
In this role, you will be part of a software development Scrum team assisting with software requirements verification, software development and operational support. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of SCRUM processes and System Requirements verification (such as Jira, Confluence
Required Qualifications:
- Frontend web development using modern techniques and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks like LESS and SASS, Responsive Design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap)
- JavaScript development using modern standards, including strict mode compliance, modularization techniques and tools, and frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, MV* frameworks such as Backbone.js and Ember.js, D3)
- Consuming RESTful APIs
- Using and working in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
- Use of version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub
- Ensuring Section 508 Compliance
- Quickly researching and learning new programming tools and techniques
- Using and working with open-source solutions and community
- Creating web layouts from static images
- Creating views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Continuous Integration and Deployment Tools: Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker
- Agile SW development methodologies

Overview of Opportunity
Two Six Technologies is actively seeking a Front-End Developer motivated to learn and contribute to a growing team that is solving complex problems for our intelligence community. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative delivery environment. A successful candidate will be familiar with and interested in working with modern UI web application frameworks and UI testing. This position offers the opportunity to provide robust and comprehensive UI features to serve hundreds of daily users.
What you will need:
- 2 - 5 years of practical experience in software engineering
- Minimum 1 year of JavaScript/TypeScript experience
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience with the following technologies:
- TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, HTML5, and modern web frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular
- Experience working in collaborative team environments
Nice to haves:
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress)
- Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience with web visualization frameworks such as D3.js or Cesium
- Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap
- Knowledge of observer design patterns utilizing RxJS or a similar library
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and experience with Sketch/Figma or equivalent design tools
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI required. TS/SCI w. Poly preferred
