Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for 4 apartment communities (225 total units) in Shaker Heights and Edgewater.

Responsibilities:

• Manages turnovers, work orders, inventory, vendor management, and groundskeeping
• Leads aspects of people management, including hiring, performance management, and career development
• Collaborate with the Construction Team to plan, execute, and report on renovations, preventative maintenance, and capex projects
• Oversee safety efforts for your team
• Complete high-skilled work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to lower vendor costs
• Monitor expenditures and adhere to the budget
• Source and coordinate external contractors, vendors, and suppliers as necessary
• Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Successful Candidate Profile

Work Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States 
• Active driver’s license and a personal, reliable, and insured vehicle
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases

Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in two of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Carpentry, HVAC
• 6+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance
• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor of people
• Experience managing multiple properties at once

We are looking for a Data Science Analyst who can not just report on performance, but also interpret data to drive decision-making to ensure our clients turn raw data into measurable business value.

What you bring:

• 2–5 years of professional experience in data science or advanced marketing analytics. We value a background that combines marketing domain expertise with technical data science rigor.
• Strong command of R and/or Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Deep understanding of statistical theory, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design. Familiarity with causal inference methods is a significant plus.
• Ability to manage client expectations, present to non-technical audiences, and pivot quickly based on evolving business needs. 
• Bonus Points: Proficiency in SQL is preferred for querying data across various cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
• Bonus Points: Exceptional "data-to-story" skills—the ability to explain the "so what" behind a coefficient or a p-value.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support discovery work to understand client challenges and develop a structured backlog of evidence-based hypotheses for testing and analysis.
• Assist in designing and executing reporting, analytics, and optimization briefs.
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure data accuracy and data pipelines are quality-checked before being leveraged for reporting, analysis or modeling.
• Perform analysis to uncover actionable insights and develop data-driven recommendations
• Present findings to internal and client stakeholders in a clear, business-focused way.

What you’ll need to accomplish in your first year:

• Contribute consistently to the experimentation backlog through research, structured hypothesis development, and KPI alignment.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights from analysis and test results that help clients make confident, data-driven decisions.

Successful Candidate Profile

• Property Manager (Senior, Area, or Regional): Multi-site management experience, strong understanding of conventional/market-rate multifamily markets, and demonstrated people management skills. Familiarity with AppFolio is a plus! Experience with Section 8 and subsidy programs could be helpful in certain areas. 

• Assistant Property Managers: Leasing or property management administration experience.

• Leasing Agents: Strong customer service or sales background.

General Requirements

• Technology at Birgo: We fully embrace technology! Comfort with tech is essential.

• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills.

• Location: Ability to work onsite at properties every workday, including select weekends and evening leasing hours. We serve communities across Western PA, West Virginia, Western New York, and Ohio.

• Work Requirements: Must have an active driver’s license, an insured vehicle, and be able to navigate stairs and uneven terrain, transport up to 25 lbs, and work on a computer for a full day.
