Your Role at impact.com:

As a Technical Services Engineer III, you will build a deep understanding of impact.com’s technology and platform capabilities, supporting clients throughout the full lifecycle, from initial integration through post-launch optimization and ongoing support. You will design, implement, and support technical solutions across our SaaS platform, helping ensure reliability, scalability, and long-term success.

Working closely with Onboarding, Client Success, Product, Engineering, and other internal teams, you will partner directly with client business and technical stakeholders to guide integrations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide ongoing guidance on best practices. In this role, you will sit at the center of the technical challenges impacting our client base, using your expertise to diagnose issues, drive resolutions, and continuously improve the client experience after go-live.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of impact.com’s products, platform capabilities, and enhancements, while staying current with relevant industry trends.
• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of technical integrations for both new and existing clients across the impact.com platform, including troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance.
• Partner closely with Onboarding, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Solutions, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience and strong post-launch support.
• Take end-to-end ownership of client technical issues, from initial investigation and root cause analysis through resolution and clear, timely communication.
• Manage incoming technical requests through ticketing systems, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify emerging or recurring issues and communicate trends, risks, and insights to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, integration guides, training materials, and help content for both clients and internal teams.
• Identify, scope, and help develop internal tools or reports that improve troubleshooting workflows or enable other teams across the organization.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a tech-focused role at a digital marketing or technology-driven company, preferably in a customer-facing capacity.
• Strong understanding of the design, implementation, and support of client solutions on SaaS platforms.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, FTP, and related tools.
• Ability to analyze logs and data to troubleshoot issues, including writing SQL queries when applicable.
• Familiarity with affiliate marketing or the broader digital marketing ecosystem is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and navigate complex technical challenges.
• Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences using a calm, constructive, and customer-centric approach.
• A self-starter mindset with curiosity and a desire to continuously learn, improve processes, and step outside of your comfort zone.

We’re looking for a performance-driven Paid Media Buyer who thrives on aggressive testing, creative iteration, and maximizing ROI across platforms such as Meta and TikTok. This role requires someone who is laser-focused on results - scaling what works, cutting what doesn’t, and constantly testing new creative angles to drive performance.

Beyond traditional paid media buying, you’ll also have experience with affiliate marketing, and knowledge about the emerging creator affiliate space. You understand how to amplify influencer content to drive key performance metrics such as sales, installs, and downloads. If you are passionate about performance marketing and demonstrate how to scale campaigns, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

Media Expertise:

• Paid Media Buying & Optimization: Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snap, Pinterest, and Impact.com media product suite, allocating budgets aggressively based on performance.
• Campaign architecture, budgeting, pacing, and optimization against clear performance goals 
• Audience strategy including prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes, exclusions, and creative-led segmentation
• Deep, hands-on experience inside Meta Business Manager (and equivalent platform admin tools)
• Creative Testing & Iteration: Drive frequent creative testing processes to maximize conversion rates and scale winners.
• Switch between performance objectives such as CPA, ROI, ROAS, and CTR, with the ability to deeply understand campaigns and how to improve them. 
• Develop and implement conversion optimization strategies to meet or exceed campaign and/or advertiser goals.
• Manage campaign budgets effectively to maximize ROAS for advertisers
• Troubleshooting of any campaign delivery issues.
• Create detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights.
• Ability to create wrap reports to communicate status and results to all stakeholders.

What You Have:

Experience:

• 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, campaign management, Ad Operations, customer acquisition, CRM/retention at an agency, publisher, SaaS company, or similar MarTech/AdTech business.
• Proven experience managing campaigns for key accounts and delivering strong performance metrics.
• Knowledge of scaling paid traffic while maintaining CPA targets.
• Background in financial services or eCommerce/retail is an advantage but not required.

Industry Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of digital metrics such as CPA, CPL, CPM, ROAS, ROI, open rates, and bounce rates, and experience optimizing campaigns to meet these targets.
• Familiarity with ad management platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Adobe), third-party measurement providers (e.g., Adjust, Branch), and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).

Skills:

• Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros.
• Experience using dashboards in Google Looker Studio is beneficial.
• Basic HTML & Javascript knowledge and experience of troubleshooting both client side and publisher tags. 
• Google AdWords/Analytics Certification and experience with WordPress or SaaS platforms preferred.
• Hands-on experience running creator-led paid social across platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
• Strong understanding of affiliate and paid marketing channels and how they align.
• Exceptional communication skills to keep stakeholders informed on priorities, successes, and challenges.
