Monitor infrastructure for vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to fintech regulatory standards.

Implement and maintain access controls, secrets management, and audit logging.

Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling across production and staging environments.

Respond to and lead resolution of infrastructure incidents, conducting post-mortems to prevent recurrence.

Ensure uptime and reliability targets are consistently met.

Champion the ongoing journey toward serverless architectures (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions).

Evaluate and recommend tooling improvements that support Ozow's evolving technical roadmap.

Collaborate with engineering to modernise legacy infrastructure components incrementally.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on infrastructure, pipelines, and runbooks.

Drive adoption of automation and AI-assisted tooling to reduce toil and increase team velocity.

Lead or contribute to the rollout of new systems, platforms, and DevOps tooling changes across the team.

An IT diploma or degree (or equivalent hands-on experience).
-
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps, SysOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role.

Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines - specifically TeamCity (Ozow's tool of choice).
-
Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
-
Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration via Kubernetes or ECS.
-
Proficiency in both Linux and Windows server environments.
-
Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar).
-
A strong security mindset with experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
-
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
-
Excellent communication skills - you can translate complex infrastructure concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in a high-availability, regulated industry (fintech, banking, or similar) is a bonus.

Your role and responsibilities
Software Development Quality & Standards
- Participating in regular code reviews
- Standardisation of technologies, approaches, and architectures across teams
- Active engagement with the development teams on all areas of software development
Agile Collaboration & Team Enablement
- Liaise with agile coaches and product owners in order to resolve team impediments
- Working with agile coaches, technical leads, development managers, and the executive team to drive architectural changes in projects and deliver on initiatives
- Understanding the interdependency of work items and teams
Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
- Active monitoring of the software development process and continuous improvement thereof
- Work with the various development and technical support teams to resolve any production issues timeously and efficiently, keeping business impact to a minimum
You are an ideal candidate if you have
- At least 7 years of work-related experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
- Ideally have an IT Diploma or Degree
- Ability to develop software in .Net 8 C#, Javascript, ReactJs, HTML, CSS and other programming languages (polyglots preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of Postgres, Mssql technologies (EF, NHibernate)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Redis, Riak, MongoDB, and others.
- Experience developing web applications, with a good understanding of how the web works
- Proven experience in high-scale applications and an understanding of the practices and approaches that are employed in scaling applications beneficial.
- Experience with unit testing, knowledge of applying test-driven development beneficial
- Understanding DevOps principals and how to apply them practically beneficial.
- Experience in cloud services preferred – AWS, Azure.
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Appveyor) highly beneficial.

As a Software Engineer, you will be someone whose expertise directly translates into developing robust software in the e-commerce domain. You will have the opportunity to implement best practices to improve existing software and participate in the development of new features. While we don't promote after-hours work as part of the regular workday, we run a 24/7 business with the need to keep systems up and running. Software Engineers are expected to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis to resolve critical system issues if needed.

- Develop code, making major improvements to non-functional areas
- Develop high-quality production code for work of high complexity and scale

Job summary
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and perform well across different environments. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to create seamless user experiences and ensure the smooth integration of front-end and back-end components.
What you will do
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications that meet customer needs.

What you will have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in React and Java.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies and best practices (e.g., state management, component libraries, UI/UX design).
- Proficiency in Java backend development, including RESTful APIs, database integration (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and experience in deploying and managing cloud-based applications.

This is a Builder’s Role - you will be responsible for the high-scale architecture that allows our models to survive production. As a senior member of the team, you will spearhead technical and infrastructure innovation, mature our code base and development processes, and provide essential technical guidance and mentorship to Junior and Intermediate Data Engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Analytics Engineers and Product Managers, to ensure the delivery of optimized data pipelines and reliable, high-impact data products.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Technical
- Design and build robust, scalable, and high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and implement solutions using advanced programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, DBT)
- Optimize and performance-tune complex data workflows and queries to handle massive data volumes and ensure minimal latency
- Assist with the design and implementation of data models for Data Warehouses (Snowflake etc.)

What We’re Looking For:
The Media Systems Engineer works within the 2U Learning division as the resident expert in media post-production workflows and best practices. They will serve as the system administrator for the post-production environment including 2U’s enterprise media asset management system, media storage solution, and all ancillary post-production related equipment and peripherals that enable workflows including ingest, transcoding, video editing, motion graphics, audio mixing, color correction, video quality assurance, and final delivery. This role will collaborate with internal 2U departments including Engineering, Production Innovation, Learning Technology, and IT, as well as external post production vendors, our systems integration partner, and product suppliers to ensure continued proper protocols as they relate to security, ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements to post production systems. This person will also work with the Media Systems Specialist to provide guidance and delegate day to day responsibilities. This person is a passionate media and tech enthusiast, constantly monitoring and absorbing media production and ed-tech industry norms, as well as the latest technical solutions including hardware, equipment and post-production related software. The person in this role will aid in determining 2U’s media and video technological vision, implementing media technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
1. Serve as global Administrator and in-house SME for media/video post-production systems including media asset management solution, AWS storage infrastructure in partnership with 2U IT/Engineering, and all media-related equipment and peripherals
- Monitor performance and maintain post-production systems according to established requirements.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors who are users within 2U’s MAM environment.
- Main liaison between 2U, post-production vendors, systems integration partner, and product suppliers for ongoing required support and troubleshooting of system anomalies.
- Provide technical expertise for all post-production editorial and technical staff including editors and motions graphics designers, video post-production management staff, and production staff for day-to-day video engineering needs encompassing all related disciplines such as operational system support monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Ensure security of the media post production environment leveraging deployed tools through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Establish and manage all user permissions and track licensing and usage.
- Troubleshoot access issues and outages among end users.
- Administer, support, and operate AWS/S3 tools and cloud-based storage; monitor and report on ingress and egress in collaboration with 2U Engineering team.
- Administer, support, and operate file-based encoding, transcoding, and media conform workflows from ingest through final delivery.
- Manage and inventory all 2U-owned local (US-based) hard drives, RAID storage, and LTO archive library if applicable.
- Support and operate LTO archive library, RAID storage, and hard drives, as necessary in conjunction with current 2U post production vendor
- Assist with software configurations for physical/local/remote servers and ingest/edit workstations as required.
- Install and maintain physical/local servers and ingest/edit workstations as required.
- Troubleshoot any machine/equipment failures, software glitches, and offline/missing media, escalating to SI partner when necessary.
- Help evaluate and troubleshoot technical quality control issues related to media, including both raw and final assets, and work with stakeholders executing media acquisition on resolving these issues.
- Make recommendations and implement upgrades to media post-production systems and software with new models and releases in order to support increasing scale, complexity requirements, and future functionality enhancements.
- Provide insight on required technical specifications for production including field and studio acquisition.
2. Develop, introduce, monitor, and improve workflows and automation in partnership with various stakeholders including internal and external post production teams.
- Develop efficient workflows based on best practices essential to a media post production operation.
- Develop and update technical documentation, policies, and SOPs for media and editorial workflows.
- Collaborate with 2U’s systems integration partner, product vendors, and internal 2U stakeholders to develop and test API integrations.
- Participate and advise on best practices for Adobe Creative Suite project and sequence organizational structures, MAM metadata architecture, and taxonomy standards.
- Identify new areas for a more streamlined approach to relevant production and post-production work including automation considerations.
- Support vendor and partner inquiries regarding external media production best practices and technical deliverable requirements.
- Participate in discussions and/or review of updates or modifications to overall operational workflows and SOPs, as appropriate.
- Maintain and update technical quality control specifications.
3. Training/Coaching.
- Responsible for training Media Systems Specialist and internal 2U staff and external vendors on related 2U systems who participate in production and post production processes including advising on technical specifications for filming/recording, editing, graphics, audio, and video quality control and assurance.
- Develop expertise on all aspects of 2U’s post-production environment including deployed MAM software and AWS storage.
- Develop and maintain training materials including user-guides, documentation, screen share recordings, etc. for user groups.
- Communicate rollouts of new video post production tools and resources to user groups.
- Training and facilitating internal 2U and external vendor training for any user groups leveraging MAM.
- Provide orientation to external/freelance technical and editorial staff (e.g. video editors) to post-production operational systems.
4. Take on additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- 7+ years of professional video/media production/post production, engineering and operations experience.
- Experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role in support of a complex media post production operation.
- Experience with various operating systems and platforms.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and cloud-based media storage. AWS/S3 and tiered cloud storage experience is a plus.
- Experience with media processing systems and workflows at various stages of the media supply chain (workflow engines, ingest, transcode, metadata, editing, delivery).
- Comprehensive knowledge of file-based and proxy workflows, formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, codecs and file types required for a high-volume media post production environment.
- Expertise in media post-production software and editing techniques on non-linear editing platforms including the full Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with enterprise media asset management software. IPV Curator experience is a plus.
- Full knowledge of encode hardware and transcode software applications. Root 6 workflow engine experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
- Experience with LTO Archive software and hardware.
- Experience with product/project management software, Atlassian Jira is a plus.
- Expertise leveraging various technology and software solutions including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack and overall web-savviness.

As the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity Operations, you will lead and mature 2U’s global cyber defense and security operations capabilities. This role is accountable for the effective execution of threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and operational security monitoring across a global enterprise.
You will manage and develop a team of security engineers responsible for day-to-day security operations, while also acting as the operational bridge between cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure, SRE, IT, and external partners (including managed or embedded resources). While remaining technically credible, your primary focus will be on operational excellence, incident readiness, process maturity, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of security operations at scale.
This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to translate technical security events into clear risk-based communication for senior stakeholders. You will own operational outcomes, ensure alignment to industry frameworks, and continuously improve tools, processes, and team capability to reduce risk across 2U’s most critical systems.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Cybersecurity Operations & Execution
- Own and oversee day-to-day cybersecurity operations, ensuring effective threat detection, investigation, response, and remediation across cloud, application, and infrastructure environments.
- Ensure security monitoring, alerting, and response processes are consistently executed, well-documented, and aligned to defined SLAs and severity models.
- Provide operational oversight of security tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SOAR), ensuring tools are properly configured, maintained, and delivering actionable outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational runbooks, response workflows, and automation to reduce manual effort and improve response quality.
Cybersecurity Incident Management & Operational Readiness
- Own the cybersecurity incident management program, ensuring incidents are triaged, escalated, coordinated, and resolved effectively.
- Ensure clear roles, escalation paths, and communications are in place for security incidents, including coordination with SRE, Engineering, Infrastructure, IT, Legal, Privacy, and Communications teams.
- Lead post-incident reviews for security incidents, driving root cause analysis, remediation tracking, and systemic improvements.
- Ensure incident response practices align with industry standards and internal risk management expectations.
Engineering, Cloud & Application Security Alignment
- Partner with Cloud Security, Application Security, and Engineering teams to ensure security controls, detections, and response requirements are operationalised within cybersecurity operations.
- Ensure outputs from Cloud Security and Application Security initiatives (e.g., controls, detections, alerts, runbooks) are effectively integrated into security monitoring, incident response, and operational workflows.
- Act as the primary intake point for security-relevant operational signals from engineering and platform teams, ensuring they are triaged, prioritised, and actioned appropriately by cybersecurity operations.
- Collaborate with partner teams to identify gaps in detection, response coverage, and operational readiness, and drive improvements to expand and mature cybersecurity operations coverage.
- Serve as an escalation and advisory point for security-related operational issues, ensuring coordination with the appropriate domain owners (Cloud, Application, Infrastructure, SRE) while maintaining clear accountability.
Security Operations Coverage & Readiness
- Ensure cybersecurity operations maintain effective visibility and response capability across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments, aligned to defined risk and threat models.
- Oversee the integration of logging, telemetry, alerts, and response playbooks into operational tooling (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR), without assuming ownership of underlying platform or application architectures.
- Partner with domain security teams to validate that new systems, services, and changes are adequately covered by operational security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Continuously assess and improve operational coverage to ensure cybersecurity operations can detect, respond to, and support incidents across the evolving technical environment.
Proactive Risk & Vulnerability Management
- Own the operational vulnerability management lifecycle, ensuring vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, remediated, and tracked to closure.
- Use risk-based prioritization to balance remediation effort with business impact and operational realities.
- Ensure security findings and risk trends are translated into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Partner Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity operations engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Provide direction and oversight to embedded or partner resources (e.g., Sonata), ensuring clear expectations, quality delivery, and alignment to 2U standards.
- Contribute to workforce planning, skills development, and operational maturity of the cybersecurity operations function.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity or security operations, with progression into technical leadership or people management.
- Experience leading or supporting security operations, incident response, or threat management in complex environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS; exposure to GCP or Azure is a plus.
- Comfortable with scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash) to guide and review operational improvements.
- Experience partnering on CI/CD and DevSecOps initiatives to ensure security signals feed into detection and response.
- Familiarity with cloud-native and containerised environments and their operational security risks.
- Required: Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms supporting security monitoring, investigation, and incident response.
- Beneficial: Experience with SOAR workflows and WAF technologies to support security automation and application protection.
- Strong analytical judgment, able to make risk-based decisions under pressure.
- Clear communicator with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

THE ROLE
Our Incident Response Consultants are a critical part of our Cyber Security consulting practice’s success. As a Technical Lead, you will deploy your incident response expertise in a senior, client‑facing delivery role across our incident response services.
You will work across the full lifecycle of security incidents to help our clients respond and recover, spanning both traditional incident response scenarios (such as ransomware, business email compromise and intrusion investigations) and modern incidents affecting cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and software delivery environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for leading and delivering technical investigations for clients, including:
- Leading technical incident response engagements from first contact through to closure
- Acting as the primary technical resource on response cases, applying your own expertise and providing guidance to colleagues on the project team.
- Overseeing host‑, network‑ and cloud‑based investigations, including:
- Triage and containment
- System recovery and remediation support
- Technical evidence collection and forensic analysis
- Log, malware and root cause analysis
- Investigating a wide range of incident types, including but not limited to:
- Ransomware and extortion incidents
- Business Email Compromise (BEC)
- Unauthorised access and data breaches
- Incidents involving cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, automation and software supply chains
- Applying cloud and DevOps‑related expertise where required, for example when incidents involve:
- Compromised cloud identities, APIs or control planes
- Abuse of CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories or secrets

- Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, time‑critical client situations.
Technical skillset
- Strong technical foundations suitable for investigating a range of incident types, including ransomware and intrusion scenarios.
- Experience or strong interest in cloud and modern infrastructure, such as:
- AWS, Azure or GCP
- CI/CD platforms and automation
- Identity, logging and audit trails in cloud environments
- Comfortable using scripting and automation to support investigations and analysis.
Threat awareness
- Demonstrable knowledge of cyber threat actors and their tactics, techniques and procedures, including those targeting both traditional enterprise environments and modern cloud‑based systems.
Communication
- Able to clearly communicate technical findings and risk to non‑technical client audiences in a professional consulting setting.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications are not required, but the following (or similar) are beneficial:
GCFE, GCFA, EnCE, CFSR, CISSP, GREM, CCNA, MCFE, OSCP, Network+, Security+
Cloud and platform‑focused certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform) are also advantageous.

- Expertise in Apex and Visualforce programming experience, and a strong focus on Salesforce Flow (Screen, Record-Triggered, and Auto launched Flows) for declarative automation.
- Proven experience developing modern user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura Components.

We're looking for a technical people leader to own and grow the Data Platform Engineering team, while driving the architecture, reliability, and evolution of impact.com's Analytics Data Platform. This is a senior player-coach role: you'll combine hands-on technical leadership with direct people management, building a high-performing team, owning delivery, and shaping platform strategy. Expect to spend roughly 40% hands-on and 60% on leadership, people, and delivery, shifting as the team matures. You'll be accountable for both the team's output and its people, ensuring engineers are supported, challenged, and growing.
As Team Lead for Data Platform Engineering, you'll work across the full data ecosystem (ingestion, processing, storage, orchestration, access, and governance) using technologies like Scala, Python, Google Cloud Dataproc, BigQuery, and Airflow. You'll shape the operating model for the team, establish engineering standards, and drive platform strategy. This role is levelled at Senior/Staff Engineer on the engineering management track and reports to the Director of Advanced Analytics. Data Platform Engineering is one of four sub-teams within the Data Analytics Group (DAG). DPE owns ingestion, infrastructure, orchestration, and platform services. Analytics Engineering owns the dbt transformation layer and semantic layer. Data Analytics owns reporting and insights. Data Product Management owns product roadmaps and governance processes. You'll partner closely with all three, but won't own dbt models, reporting, or product prioritisation directly.
Our ideal candidate combines distributed systems expertise with proven people leadership. Someone who can make architecture decisions, run a team, and translate platform trade-offs into business language. This role is for someone who wants to build both a platform and a team, not just maintain what exists.
What you'll inherit:
The platform has strong foundations: Scala/Spark pipelines processing TB-scale data, 37+ Fivetran connectors, Airflow on Astronomer for orchestration, a mature dbt-based transformation layer, and BigQuery as the core analytical warehouse. Databricks is part of the current stack but is being transitioned off in favour of Dataproc and BigQuery-native patterns. Required Skills & Experience:

As a Software Engineer, you will be someone whose expertise directly translates into developing robust software in the e-commerce domain. You will have the opportunity to implement best practices to improve existing software and participate in the development of new features. While we don't promote after-hours work as part of the regular workday, we run a 24/7 business with the need to keep systems up and running. Software Engineers are expected to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis to resolve critical system issues if needed.
The role is focused on maintaining our search stack. We are currently in the process of transitioning from Elasticsearch to Vertex AI Search, so experience with any of those would be a bonus, but not a necessity. Experience with any kind of search technology (Solr, Algolia) is relevant. Takealot runs mostly on Python, but experience in any of the mainstream backend languages (Python, Java or Go) is a plus.

Primary Responsibility:

Your Role at impact.com:
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact, your key responsibilities will carry a dual mandate, being to deliver the highest quality software to our end users while simultaneously ensuring the persistence of the quality standard by means of automated regression. This is a rare opportunity in QA to have a direct influence on the quality of our software through every phase of the feature delivery workflow. This role will fully encompass all responsibilities associated with the Quality Assurance complement for a designated squad.
The applicant who is ultimately successful will be expected to scrutinize new features with a high attention to detail and document the methodology utilised in the form of a detailed test plan containing the respective test cases specific to the feature. Upon successful deployment of the feature, the scenarios detailed in the test plan are then to be automated using Java and selenium webdriver.
The person filling this role will also be mandated with conducting the regression testing phase of the deployment workflow process and reporting on results timeously. The successful candidate will partner closely with software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand product requirements as well as functionality for developing appropriate build scripts, test plans and test cases.
What You'll Do:
- Accountable for Automation Testing
- Accountable for creating, configuring and maintaining a suite of automated regressions tests & their environment
- Test Planning & Analysis of Requirements
- Sign-off on manually scripted test cases
- Review and action pull requests
- Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of the overall system.
- Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions
- Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.
- Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
- Testing will include functional and nonfunctional, integration, regression, system, smoke and sanity testing (minimum)
- Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
- Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.
- Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Create test tools that facilitate data gathering and test method execution.
- Support manufacturing by verifying fixture software or any software used during production.
- Participate in risk management meetings.
- Scripting of test cases against manually scripted test cases / TestRail
- Run regression tests against the applications then diagnose & report all issues
- Implement automated tests using a Selenium framework
- Defect Management
- Implement scripts and server configurations for automated build and testing environments
- Provide reports and procedures on Automation runs & progress
- Reporting and tracking test metrics such as test and code coverage
- Ensure QA automated test framework is documented, with focus on continuity
What You Have:
- Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
- Creative thinking skills
- Detail-oriented personality
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to communicate well to other members of the development team
- At least 3 years experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Bachelor's Degree/BTEC or equivalent experience
- ISTQB/ISEB (Pref)
- At least 2 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs
- At least 3 years of test automation experience: Selenium, Jasmine, POM, Cucumber
- Certified in Java, Spring or AWS technologies (Pref)
- Nice to have: Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA
