Technologists at WorldQuant research, design, code, test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. The Role: Our team is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to work on the firm's internal alerting and notification systems. You'll own the frontend for these applications and will have considerable input into future features and architectural direction.
- Build Great Interfaces & APIs: Design, develop, and deliver clean, responsive user interfaces and intuitive APIs for our internal users.
- Strengthen Reliability & Observability: Improve our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability systems to keep our services robust in production.
- Create Developer Tooling: Build tools for the team and the broader firm that streamline our development pipeline, including tooling for use with agentic coding systems.
- Write Clear Documentation: Ensure our systems are well-documented so they're easy to understand, adopt, and maintain.
- Maintain High Code Quality: Drive engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, well-tested implementations, and clean, maintainable architecture.
What You’ll Bring:
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience using React.js, Material-UI, and modern build tools such as Vite.
- Backend: Experience developing and maintaining web backends and HTTP APIs, preferably in Python. Familiarity with Go, PHP, Ruby, Perl, or other server-side languages is also welcome.
- Databases: Working experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLite.
- Infrastructure: Comfortable in a Unix/Linux environment, with practical experience in CI/CD pipelines and Docker/containerized applications. Experience with Kubernetes or distributed systems is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills and the ability to methodically work through complex issues.
- Communication: Clear, collaborative communication style — you can explain technical decisions and work effectively across teams.

We have a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house by our dedicated Sportsbook tech team and growing at a very rapid rate, expanding not only in new markets but also as a B2B product. Having our product available in different parts of the world and offering sports all around the world requires to have support around the clock. Our Product Development organisation is truly Global with cross functional teams spanning 5 Tech Hubs. These can be found in Malta, Budapest, Stockholm, Tallinn and Athens.

A flavour of what you'll be doing
You will be part of an end-to-end agile team with a strong feature focus, consisting of developers, QA engineers and UX specialists. Team members are expected to be involved in all aspects of software development from making sure that the architecture and design is as good as we can make it, to writing code, unit and end-to-end tests and manage our data models.
You will work both on designing and implementing new features as well as analyzing the system and improve architecture and technical excellence.
