Senior Consultant
Hybrid, Bucharest, Romania
JOB OVERVIEW
As a Legion Senior Consultant, you lead the evolution of our implementation methodology, learning from our experiences. This role also ensures that our Consultants are achieving a level of consulting certification that promotes the goals of our customers, as defined within a statement of work. This is an individual contributor role that is focused on leading the customer to implement well-designed workforce management solutions that streamline operational efficiency. During implementation, you will be configuring, testing, delivering the system and supporting customer training.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Sr. Consultant Core Activities
- Promote the evolution of the Legion Implementation Methodology and implement approaches that support Agile standards for cloud delivery solutions
- Manage multiple concurrent enterprise projects, leading all implementation project phases
- Ensure a smooth implementation and adoption of the Legion platform, providing a seamless journey and business results that drive customer success
- Configure Legion products according to the solution blueprint
- Provide configuration reviews and configuration knowledge transfers to the customer
- Assist customers with software testing along with roll-out activities such as data loads and system initialization
- Deliver live customer training for areas such as training the trainer for administrators and store managers
- Lead and facilitate discussions and workshops with the customer
- Oversee configuration documents, tools, and methodologies including but not limited to solution blueprint, enterprise configuration worksheet, etc.
- Define, manage, and deliver on customer expectations throughout the implementation process
- Work with teams within Legion to ensure implementation timelines and support SLAs are met
- Advocate customer needs within Legion to ensure the product continues to improve on behalf of your customer
- Be familiar with compliance and labor laws and how they impact customers
- Complete ongoing education to further develop the skills and knowledge necessary for continued success, including industry trends, technology, and the Legion product
- Define, manage, and deliver on customer expectations throughout the implementation process
Customer Centric Consulting
- Providing leading practices to ensure customers are maximizing the value of their Legion solution
- Actively set and manage expectations
- Continually acquire knowledge about our customers and solutions to grow adoption
- Comfortable communicating in considerably demanding situations internally and externally to all levels of colleagues and peer groups in ways that support problem-solving and planning
Consulting Practices
- Implement processes that support the efficient execution of phases within the Legion value-driven implementation methodology
- Define consulting leading practices and create a strategy that may include product certification and consultant training supported by the Training & Enablement Manager
- Work with the Operations and Solution Architecture to support a Center of Excellence designed to improve organizational performance, maintain standards for consulting, and establish a document repository, governance, and coaching space for consultants
- Understand and prevent scope creep
- Use Legion project management tools to manage configuration tasks assigned within the implementation project plan
Product Expertise
- Product expert in core Legion modules
- Maintain core product expertise for end users and configuration
- Grow product knowledge through regular release training
- Communicate upcoming release themes and dates to the customer
- Identify, report, and prioritize bugs & enhancements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience implementing software, configuring Workforce Management solutions, and/or in Customer Success
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic team player, driven by delighting customers
- Exceptional situational presence, relationship building, intellect, ethics, and judgment that engenders credibility and trust
- Polished English language communicator, persuasive presenter, fast on your feet, and innately organized; superb negotiation and diplomacy skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
- 7+ years experience implementing software, configuring Workforce Management solutions, and/or in Customer Success
- Workforce management planning experience in a retail environment
- Experience mentoring and training software implementation Consultants

Technical Account Manager (TAM)

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will work closely with our customers, build relationships with them, help them achieve their technical goals, and overcome technical challenges.
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as a trusted technical partner to customers, acting as the primary point of contact for technical guidance, system optimization, and issue coordination after implementation. The TAM works closely with customer System Administrators and internal teams to understand business processes, ensure effective system configuration, and help customers maximize value from the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Named Technical Contact
- Serve as the dedicated technical resource for assigned customer accounts
- Partner with customer System Administrators to understand business processes, workflows, and system configurations
- Maintain deep familiarity with each customer’s environment, priorities, and use cases
Product Expertise & Consultation
- Act as a product expert, providing guidance, best practices, and technical consultation
- Translate customer business needs into system configuration and optimization recommendations
- Support customers in understanding platform capabilities, limitations, and tradeoffs
Issue Facilitation & Support Oversight
- Provide oversight and coordination for customer support tickets
- Own or directly manage highly technical or complex issues as needed
- Effectively escalate critical and urgent issues, partnering with Support, Engineering, and Product teams to drive resolution
- Analyze support trends and proactively address recurring issues
Readiness & Enablement Management
- Ensure customers are prepared for and leveraging new product features
- Conduct Release Readiness Reviews to prepare customers for upcoming releases, including testing, configuration changes, and process impacts
- Partner with customers to drive feature adoption aligned to their business goals
Trusted Advisor & Relationship Management
- Run a regular cadence of customer meetings to review:
- Open workstreams and initiatives
- Support ticket status and analysis
- New questions and technical needs
- Open and prioritized issues
- Action items and next steps
- Serve as a trusted consultant, ensuring alignment between customer goals and platform usage
- Advocate for customer needs internally and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years Technical Account Management or other relevant experience such as implementing and configuring workforce management solutions
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects with competing priorities
- Strong root cause diagnostic capabilities to assess customer reported problems and determine whether it’s a software, configuration, or user error
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening
- Technical understanding of integration platforms such as Workato, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, SnapLogic (Workato preferred)
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Workforce management (WFM) consulting and integration experience
- 3+ years Technical Account Management or other relevant experience such as implementing and configuring workforce management solutions
- Proven ability to manage changes for business growth minimizing disruption
- Experience in operating environments in retail, hospitality, restaurant or other industries to understand and identify labor challenges that Legion solves
- Exposure to agile software development leveraging toolsets (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Jenkins)
