We are looking for a team leader for Semiconductor IC test engineering activities for an advanced AI accelerator chip program, including ownership of subcontracted test development, internal team leadership, and delivery of high-quality, high-volume-capable test solutions. The role spans test strategy, test architecture, vendor oversight, team management, and hands-on technical guidance across digital, memory, and high-speed interface domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the manufacturing test strategy for an AI accelerator chip featuring PCIe Gen6, LPDDR, advanced CMOS nodes, and advanced packaging (e.g., 2.5D/3D, chiplet).
- Lead and manage a team of chip test engineers responsible for test planning, test program development, pattern bring-up, silicon characterization, debug, and optimization.
- Manage subcontracted test development partners (OSATs, ATE vendors, external engineering services). Includes scoping, technical oversight, schedule tracking, and quality control of deliverables.
- Define and drive test software architecture, DFT usage, and test pattern development strategies for high-speed logic, SRAM, DRAM, and High Speed IO blocks.
- Work closely with design, DFT, product engineering, packaging, and validation teams to ensure robust test coverage, manufacturability, and yield ramp success.
- Oversee test development for high speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen6 and multi-GHz LPDDR.
- Guide development of structural and functional test content (scan, MBIST, JTAG, HSIO tests, system-level tests).
- Lead silicon bring-up and development on ATE: correlation, failure analysis, shmooing, corner testing, stress testing, and yield improvement activities.
- Define KPIs and metrics for subcontractor performance, test coverage, yield, time-to-test, and cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement in test methodologies, automation, data analytics, and debug infrastructure.
- Ensure robust test flows for advanced packaging (thermals, interposer/bridge connections, TSV integrity, die-to-die IO testing).
- Support qualification, reliability testing, and high-volume manufacturing transfer.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in semiconductor test engineering, including leadership or technical lead roles.
- Deep experience with ATE test development (e.g., Advantest 93K, Teradyne).
- Strong understanding of DFT (scan, ATPG, LBIST, MBIST), memory testing, and high-speed interface testing.
- Experience managing external test development partners or OSATs.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor test engineering teams.
- Solid background in advanced CMOS nodes and familiarity with advanced packaging test challenges.
- Expertise in silicon debug, characterization, and correlation across ATE and system-level environments.
- Ability to collaborate across design, architecture, product engineering, packaging, and operations..
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML accelerator chips or other high-performance compute ICs.
- Prior involvement with PCIe Gen5/Gen6 or LPDDR4/5/6 test methodologies.
- Familiarity with signal-integrity-aware test development and high-speed IO margining.
- Experience with chiplets, 2.5D/3D IC test flows, or heterogeneous integration.

Join the team implementing DFT for a large, multi-core AI accelerator ASIC. You will work on scan, ATPG, and memory test, contributing to a robust and scalable test solution while developing your expertise in advanced SoC design.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the DFT architecture of a multi-core AI accelerator SoC

You will own the strategy, specification, and development of test solutions for a high-volume production board/PCBA that integrates multiple AI accelerator chips, high-current power delivery, embedded control, and PCIe Gen6 interconnect. Lead and manage internal and external engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable test infrastructure for offshore manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end board/PCBA test strategy for a complex board containing multiple AI accelerator chips, high-current VRMs, local MCU, and PCIe Gen6 board-to-board and chip-to-chip links.
- Develop detailed test requirements, coverage goals, and manufacturing test specifications (ICT, boundary scan, functional test, system-level test).
- Lead the design and deployment of the board/PCBA test solution for offshore high-volume manufacturing, including fixtures, test stations, instrumentation, and automation architecture.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, power, and SI/PI teams to ensure testability is designed-in early (DFT/DFM for board-level manufacturing and test).
- Oversee MCU-based board-level test features (self-test firmware, sensor/telemetry validation, SPI/I2C/GPIO test hooks).
- Coordinate with CM/EMS partners to ensure manufacturability, repeatability, throughput, and yield targets are met; establish KPIs for board test performance.
- Lead root-cause failure analysis and test-based diagnostics for assembly defects, component issues and manufacturing marginalities and weaknesses.
- Own documentation for test specifications, test flow, acceptance criteria, debug procedures.
- Implement data collection, logging, and analytics for yield, performance trends, and field-return correlation.
- Manage external partners developing fixtures, test software, and custom instrumentation; track schedules and deliverables.
- Partner with product engineering to align board test with system characterization, environmental stress testing, and reliability validation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in board/PCBA test engineering, with ownership of high-volume production test solutions.
- Experience defining test strategies for complex digital boards with high-speed IO and significant power delivery requirements.
- Strong hands-on experience with functional testers, fixture development, boundary scan/JTAG, ICT, and automated manufacturing test flows.
- Experience with embedded test firmware and MCU-driven diagnostics (Zephyr or similar RTOSes a plus).
- Proven ability to work with offshore EMS/CM partners and manage external test development vendors.
- Strong analytical and debug skills across digital logic, power electronics, and high-speed serial links.
Preferred Qualifications

Lead the creation, automation, and integration of tests spanning hardware, firmware, OS, high-speed IO, cooling, and manageability subsystems. Ensure scalable, reliable test processes that support high-volume manufacturing, rack integration, and in-field diagnostics and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the system-level test strategy for an AI accelerator server platform with hundreds of PCIe Gen6 links, liquid cooling, and heterogeneous compute/management subsystems.
- Lead the design and implementation of structural, functional, stress and reliability tests executed on servers and full-rack configurations.
- Manage the deployment of system test suites in manufacturing environments, ensuring high throughput, repeatability, failure isolation, and secure automation workflows.
- Define and deliver test solutions for field diagnostics, repair, and maintenance—including remote test suites, health-check routines, failure triage, and component-level isolation.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, OS, and platform teams to embed system-level test and diagnostic functions and ensure testability across the server and rack.
- Drive test integration into OpenBMC, Redfish, and platform-management frameworks; validate BMC/RMC test and maintenance behaviors, telemetry, and hardware-control functions.
- Develop test automation infrastructure and tooling that spans multiple OS environments (embedded Linux on BMC/RMCs, server-class Linux on host CPUs).
- Partner with rack integration teams to define tests executed at rack-level assembly.

- Experience validating or testing high-speed IO subsystems (PCIe Gen4/5/6 or comparable serial fabrics).
- Experience leading test development for manufacturing or field diagnostics in large-scale server, storage, or networking systems.
- Ability to lead teams, manage external vendors, and drive cross-functional test initiatives.
- Strong skills in system debug, log analysis, failure isolation, and multi-component testing.
- Familiarity with liquid-cooled or thermally complex server designs.

Job Summary
Applicants for this role should have strong experience working with machine learning systems and frameworks, along with a solid understanding of core AI concepts and model behaviour. The role centres on testing, validating, and benchmarking a complex ML software stack, with a particular focus on performance, reliability, and correctness across modern AI workloads.
The ideal candidate is an experienced ML engineer who understands how contemporary models are trained and executed, and who has hands-on experience debugging functional and performance issues in ML systems. The Team
The ML QA team is composed of highly skilled software engineers with a strong focus on automation, software quality, and data-driven validation. The team works closely with industry-standard machine learning frameworks and models, contributing to upstream open-source projects and collaborating across the wider software organization.
Operating in a fast-paced environment, the team plays a critical role in ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability across the ML software stack, helping to deliver robust and high-quality products to customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Benchmark ML models and frameworks, analysing results to identify regressions, performance bottlenecks, and correctness issues.
• Work hands-on with industry-standard ML frameworks to validate functionality and performance across different execution environments.
• Build and maintain automated testing and benchmarking pipelines targeting simulators, emulators, and physical hardware.
• Collaborate closely with software teams to ensure adequate test coverage for new and existing features.
• Develop tooling and scripts (primarily in Python) to support testing, benchmarking, and functional reporting.

Essential:

Often the internal systems will be using and developing pre-release hardware and software, so it’s vital you are comfortable with unproven components.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and operate high-performance ethernet infrastructure on our private clouds and support internal users in their use. You will turn end-user and product requirements into deployed services.
- Help to build automation to collect and analyse metrics and other data from the network infrastructure to support clear identification and reporting of any issues. Work with users to provide information of any product-related issues to Engineering and QA departments.
- Work with our Datacentre Operations Engineers to maintain, tune and operate the fleet of AI systems at peak performance in our private clouds.

- Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or related UI frameworks), C#, XAML, and — when needed — C++.
- Define and enforce best-practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase: code architecture, performance, memory usage, responsive UI, cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+), and maintainability.
- Drive accessibility efforts: integrate and validate support for accessibility APIs (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or other relevant Windows accessibility frameworks), ensure UI controls, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and usability for users with disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and other stakeholders to shape feature planning, UI/UX architecture, and long-term roadmap for the Windows platform.

Required:

- Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed code (.NET) and native code.
- Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or similar), and a dedication to building accessible and inclusive software.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading or asynchronous programming (where relevant).
- Experience leading technical design, mentoring other engineers, conducting code reviews, and making architecture-level decisions.
