Role Summary and Impact
As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Data Engineer Manager who will:
- Collaborate closely with a team of data engineers, developers, and UX designers to create and optimize data pipelines and workflows supporting media performance reporting.
- Manage the design, build, and maintenance phases of client reporting projects.
- Work with Business Intelligence/Data Operations to define and document comprehensive reporting and visualization requirements.
- Ensure high data quality and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing data workspaces.
- Deploy new client teams to cloud data solutions, offering guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
- Define clear QA guidelines and automate current QA processes to enhance efficiency.
- With the support of the Associate Director, develop innovative tools, processes, and best practices to achieve workflow efficiencies and drive value for both client teams and clients.
- Act as the subject matter expert for all questions and projects related to data quality, BI tools, and business rules, ensuring that best practices are consistently followed across all initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication and ensure task progression through regular status meetings and working sessions; proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks and issues.
- Efficiently track and manage a high volume of tasks across multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Build positive and collaborative relationships with internal teams, effectively communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Skills and Experience

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related scientific field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data governance processes within a data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence environment.
- Experience with the full development life cycle of an application or reporting solution – from design through testing and deployment.
- Experience in a media environment (digital investment, analytics, or ad operations) is preferred; an understanding of the media landscape is beneficial.
- Experience and understanding of processes across multiple media channels (digital, search, social, offline, etc.) and handling diverse datasets (paid media, owned, etc.).
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of databases and data warehouses is crucial, including SQL (most important), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages is essential, with Python being highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS (familiarity with any major cloud provider is key).
- Knowledge of data engineering platforms such as Databricks.
- Familiarity with project/product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Azure DevOps/VSTS.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience with advertising campaign management/buying platforms (e.g., Sizmek, GCM, Flashtalking, Moat, DV, IAS, Mediaocean, Media Tools, Nielsen, ComScore, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, 4C, Brand Networks, YouTube, Google Ads, Bing, Kenshoo, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is highly beneficial.

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Engineer who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.
Compensation
The compensation range for the role is as follows:
- Mid: $3,500 - $6,000 USD per month
- Junior: $2,200 - $3,500 USD per month
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Help own and build out new features within our cross-platform TypeScript React Native app, and Golang backend APIs.
- Manage our releases, using tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to ensure a safe rollout to our millions of active users.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with product, design, and the business to ensure stakeholder needs are being evaluated and met.
- Work with the team to continuously build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
- Develop a deep working knowledge of your application, data domain, and KPIs.
What We Look For:
- 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 6+ months in React Native or Similar technology such as Flutter.
- Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google’s mobile app stores.
- Strong familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, and building applications with React Native, or similar cross-platform framework.
- Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
- Strong familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).
- Ability to lead features end-to-end — from requirements, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
- Capable of performing high-quality code reviews with focus on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
- Drives technical decisions, proposes improvements, and elevates code quality across the team.
- Works well with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java or similar.
- Familiarity with typical microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs.
- Experience working with native code on iOS, Android.
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
