About the role
This Technical Product Manager will lead the development of an Android-based voice-enabled AI application. They will be the owner of the stories in the backlog and ensure the requirements and acceptance criteria narrative are effectively translated into technical specs for the teams (FE, BE, UX)
Product Ownership & Delivery
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring work is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to business outcomes
• Translate business needs and stakeholder requests into structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Partner closely with engineering and design to ensure requirements are well understood and delivered with quality
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and day-to-day execution to keep delivery on track
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and scope changes throughout the delivery lifecycle
Requirements & Analysis
• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Break down complex business processes into clear, actionable work for delivery teams
• Ensure traceability between business needs, requirements, and delivered solutions
• Continuously refine requirements based on feedback, testing, and evolving priorities
• Support QA and UAT efforts by clarifying expected behavior and validating outcomes
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Facilitate working sessions, requirement discussions, and decision-making forums
• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and serve as a trusted partner in delivery
Product Thinking & Continuous Improvement
• Frame requests in terms of user and business outcomes, not just features
• Support prioritization decisions by balancing business value, technical constraints, and delivery timelines
• Contribute to defining scope and iterative delivery plans
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and product experience
• Leverage data, feedback, and team insights to continuously improve the product
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of agile delivery practices and product ownership responsibilities
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Claude AI, GitHub, and Cursor
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinking paired with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
- Consultative problem-solving and the ability to guide conversations beyond immediate deliverables
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, and comfortable navigating ambiguity

- Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google’s mobile app stores.
- Strong familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, and building applications with React Native, or similar cross-platform framework.
- Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledgeable in writing automated tests for applications (unit, integration, end-to-end), and implementing them in a CI environment.

About the Role:

Compensation
The compensation range for the role is as follows:
- Mid: $3,500 - $6,000 USD per month
- Junior: $2,200 - $3,500 USD per month

What You'll Do:
- Help own and build out new features within our cross-platform TypeScript React Native app, and Golang backend APIs.
- Manage our releases, using tools like cohorting, feature flags, and app-store infrastructure to ensure a safe rollout to our millions of active users.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with product, design, and the business to ensure stakeholder needs are being evaluated and met.
- Work with the team to continuously build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
- Develop a deep working knowledge of your application, data domain, and KPIs.
What We Look For:
- 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 6+ months in React Native or Similar technology such as Flutter.
- Experience developing and delivering a mobile application to Apple and Google’s mobile app stores.
- Strong familiarity with modern Frontend Development, Javascript or Typescript, and building applications with React Native, or similar cross-platform framework.
- Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
- Strong familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.).
- Ability to lead features end-to-end — from requirements, design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
- Capable of performing high-quality code reviews with focus on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
- Drives technical decisions, proposes improvements, and elevates code quality across the team.
- Works well with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java or similar.
- Familiarity with typical microservice architecture composed of HTTP APIs.
- Experience working with native code on iOS, Android.
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.).
