Key Responsibilities
- Edit a wide range of videos: testimonials, brand films, social content, product explainers, event recap videos, and internal communication pieces.
- Cut, refine, colour-grade, sound-mix, and add motion graphics to deliver professional-quality output.
- Work with the creative lead to understand briefs, recommend creative approaches, and maintain brand consistency.
- Organise footage, maintain project files, and manage efficient workflows.
- Adapt edits to multiple formats and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) for different platforms.
- Bring strong storytelling instincts and the ability to elevate an edit beyond the brief.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong storytelling sense — pacing, rhythm, emotion, music sync.
- Excellent visual taste and attention to detail.
- Ability to work fast without compromising quality.
- Experience editing for brand and corporate content.
- Good sense of sound design and music selection.
- Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly.
- Strong organizational and file-management discipline.
Software Expertise
- Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
- After Effects (for basic motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, transitions)
- Photoshop (for quick graphic tweaks when needed)
- Familiarity with audio tools (Audition or basic sound plugins)
