We are looking for an energetic Senior Firmware Engineer who can bridge these technologies with novel software solutions, algorithms, and machine learning primitives.

Required skills:

• Ability to work on communication stacks, in-depth domain knowledge on Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth Audio, Multipoint, Auracast, Controller stack protocols, BLE profiles/Services.
• Ability to work on system level architecture; ability to create and maintain system level solutions comprised of state-of-the-art hardware and software components and provide documentation for our products.                                   
• Development experience with functions and protocols such as TWS Role switch, fast pairing, voice assistants, Conformance and Teams certifications.
• Ability to understand complex customer application ecosystems and integrate our product offerings.
• Prior experience in developing and debugging all aspects of system software. This includes understanding overall system performance from both a hardware and software perspective.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of Industrial experience in firmware development
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
• Strong knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and algorithm development experience
• Experience with communication stacks including Bluetooth classic, BLE USB, SDIO WiFi, Bluetooth & WiFi interoperability.
• Strong knowledge of Tensilica HiFi, Kalimba DSP cores and Bluetooth Audio Frameworks
• Hands on experience with integrating, building, and testing of multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with embedded real-time operating systems
• Experience with SCM tools (GIT, SVN, Clearcase, Perforce, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of a software development process (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Application of Object-Oriented concepts and methodologies
• Strong system level knowledge in audio, video and TWS domains

You will work with some of the brightest minds in the business across multiple disciplines of software, hardware, acoustics and WiFi technologies. What You’ll Do

• Use your knowledge of C, Linux kernel mode development, to integrate components into the platform simulator, to bring up new prototypes and future client products on the latest, highest performing wireless networking hardware.
• Leverage your curiosity in solving intricate, hard-to-replroduce defects in Linux kernel.
• Work closely with the Hardware and Platform Software teams to optimize clients platform performance, maintaining our market position as the most advanced audio hardware system in the world.
