Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Belfast Belfast BYD
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:15–5pm, Friday 8:30–4pm, Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)
Salary: OTE up to £42,600 (including £34,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential)
Charles Hurst are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our fantastic workshop in Belfast BYD. While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.
You will report to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed. We also offer excellent training and career progression opportunities, including manufacturer-accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to accelerate your career further.

Hours: 41 hours per week with potential of a 4 day working week depending on experience

You will report directly to our experienced Aftersales Manager, who will provide continuous support to ensure you have everything you need to excel. Hours: Monday–Thursday 8.15–5pm, Friday 8.30–4. Saturday 9–1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4).
OTE up to £40,600 including £32,000-£34,000 basic per annum + £6,600 bonus potential

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Level 3 Technician to join our growing team at Charles Hurst Citroen in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high‑quality work, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to continue developing their technical skills. You’ll be supported by our Franchise Aftersales Manager, Wallace Mcfall , and benefit from ongoing training, including manufacturer‑accredited programmes and Hybrid & Electric vehicle training to help you progress your career. Our technicians play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, and we want you to be part of our continued success. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to Peugeot standards
Diagnose and resolve a range of mechanical and electrical faults
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and right first time
Prepare and quality‑check vehicles prior to customer handover
Maintain high levels of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent
Strong mechanical skills
Confident using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
A proactive approach to learning and development
Full, clean driving licence
