What will your day look like?

In the role as an Adobe Developer, you are responsible for understanding the technical structure of a project. Your job will be to identify client requirements by researching concept, strategy, and target for the project, followed by designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions leveraging Adobe marketing platforms.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• Leading the implementation of new features, bug fixes, and complex configurations within Adobe environments.
• Collaborating with Architects and Technical Project Managers to translate client requirements into precise technical specifications, estimates, and deployment plans.
• Conducting in-depth technical investigations, troubleshooting issues, and proposing effective solutions, often involving advanced programming and integration.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to Associate and other Developers on complex tasks, coding best practices, and problem-solving techniques.
• Ensuring the successful integration, testing, and deployment of client applications and platforms, applying rigorous quality assurance methods.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, especially within the Adobe ecosystem, to continually enhance our offerings and provide innovative solutions.
• Acting as a go-to resource for technical challenges, proactively engaging in discussions with clients and internal teams to find the best approach.

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience, ideally within an agency or consulting environment, with a strong focus on digital marketing solutions.
• Proven expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, such as Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Campaign Classic, Adobe Marketo Engage, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Target (AT).
• Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, and SQL, along with experience in other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and API integrations.
• Active Adobe certifications such as AJO Developer Expert, RTCDP Developer Expert, Adobe Campaign Classic Developer Expert, Adobe Campaign Standard Developer Expert
• Experience with code versioning systems, automated integration testing, security testing, and secure coding practices.
• Deep understanding of data models, optimization techniques, and GDPR principles.
• Excellent communication skills (in English), with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

• Design, build, and maintain AI-driven services and agent-based solutions for workflow and business process automation.
• Develop orchestration logic across LLMs, internal services, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Build backend components for AI products and automation pipelines using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows with CRM, ERP, ticketing, knowledge management, communication, and other business systems.
• Implement and improve RAG, tool/function calling, memory/state handling, evaluation, and monitoring for AI use cases.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, domain experts, and business stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, production delivery, and iteration.
• Ensure production quality through testing, observability, reliability, security, performance, and cost awareness.
• Document architecture, technical decisions, and tradeoffs, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You'll need:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in software engineering, backend engineering, or applied AI engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Practical experience with LLM-based applications, AI automation, or agentic workflows.
• Solid understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and context management.
• Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and external APIs.
• Understanding of reliable backend patterns such as async processing, retries, queues, idempotency, and error handling.
• Ability to understand business workflows and translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with product teams, analysts, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE 🤩

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with workflow and orchestration tools such as n8n, Temporal, or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, BullMQ, or similar technologies.
• Experience with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
• Experience with Python in AI/ML-related use cases.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to observability and evaluation tooling for AI systems.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and governance considerations for AI-driven business systems.
