THE ROLE: Lead MLOps Engineer
This role exists because Hyperstack is scaling its AI cloud platform and building out the infrastructure that powers production ML workloads for thousands of customers. As AI Studio capabilities grow and the platform takes on increasingly complex training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads, we need someone to own the MLOps layer — the systems, tooling, and practices that make large-scale AI workloads reliable, observable, and repeatable in production. You'll have direct ownership over ML platform reliability, deployment workflow engineering, and the operational standards that underpin how AI workloads run on Hyperstack end to end.
This is a lead individual contributor role. You'll set the technical direction for MLOps on the platform, work directly with Product and Engineering, and take end-to-end ownership of the systems that make AI workloads run in production.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like:
- Own the design, implementation, and evolution of core MLOps systems across Hyperstack — including the infrastructure and workflows that underpin AI Studio
- Build and improve systems that orchestrate model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment — engineered for long-running, resource-intensive GPU workloads
- Own production readiness across ML infrastructure — monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continuous improvement based on real-world usage
- Define and embed strong MLOps practices across teams — model versioning, reproducibility, deployment safety, rollback strategies, and environment management
- Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, implementation guidance, and shared standards — working closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams
ABOUT YOU:
We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:
Essential
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating production ML infrastructure, platform systems, or MLOps workflows in cloud environments
- Hands-on Python development skills, with experience building backend systems, automation, and developer or platform tooling
- Experience supporting LLM, generative AI, or fine-tuning workflows in production — including training, evaluation, deployment, inference, and lifecycle management
- Production-grade experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code in real, operational environments
- Experience owning complex, asynchronous, or resource-intensive workloads end to end — including orchestration, reliability, observability, and incident response
- Ability to work cross-functionally and provide technical leadership through influence — shaping standards, direction, and ways of working across engineering teams
Nice to Have
- Exposure to GPU-intensive, distributed, or performance-sensitive ML workloads
- Experience building internal developer platforms or tooling that improve experimentation, reproducibility, and delivery speed for ML teams
- Background in cloud infrastructure, platform products, or technically complex B2B software

About the Senior QA Engineer Role:
We're looking for an innovative Senior QA Engineer who will lead the production of automated and manual tests to ensure the successful deployment of web and mobile app products. In this role, this person will join a strong and energetic team utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to make a measurable and visible impact on our organization.
The Senior QA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Works closely with team members and proactively communicates any blockers the project faces.
- Implements QA best practices acquired through prior experience for QA process improvement.
- Designs test cases and executes in-sprint testing to ensure the quality of software releases.
- Facilitates and participates in demos explaining application functionality and/or test scripts that have been written.
- Reviews Automation testing script.
- Conducts functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects, ensuring timely bug resolution.
- Performs root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of defects and quality issues.
- Develops and maintains test automation frameworks and scripts to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Collaborates with DevOps teams to integrate testing activities into the CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
- Creates quality measurements to track improvement in products.
- Executes quality improvement testing and activities.
- Develops quality assurance standards and company processes.
- Adheres to industry quality and safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience as a QA engineer, with experience in black-box and white-box testing of APIs and web applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Understanding of various automated testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end, functional, performance, etc.) and where to apply them.
- Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Qase, etc.
- Experience with various automated testing tools like Postman, JMeter, Cypress, etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, among others.
- Experience testing applications running on Cloud platforms such as AWS, or Azure.
- Enjoys mentoring team members, explaining why things are done in a certain manner instead of just how things are done.
- Demonstrates strong problem resolving capabilities including brainstorming alternatives to a given problem.
- Not afraid to show leadership by identifying and incorporating best practices and processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect with others.
- Passionate about testing and continuous improvement; strives to keep things as simple as possible.
- Must be willing to travel if needed.
- Must be willing to work extended hours if needed.
- Valid work authorization required.

- Prepares Automation Scripts in need of project demand and reduces the man-hours required for higher quality assurance.
- Executes end-to-end functional tests and utilizes automated tests to exercise the system.
- Monitors all projects' quality status and progress from a broad perspective, and adjusts personnel assignments and schedules according to the situation.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript Libraries & Frameworks (React.js, Redux.js, Node.js, Express.js).
- Experienced with AWS APIs (Lambda, SQS, S3).
- Experience with web security technology.
- Experience with software QA tools and processes.
- Extensive experience in software development and testing.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows.
- Good time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to travel if needed.
- Must be willing to work extended hours if needed.
