Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoice processing, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and alignment with internal policies (Workplace Services, Visa, Work Permit, Business Travel, and Engagement activities)
• Coordinate with AP and cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Admin) to ensure smooth invoice-to-payment processing; escalate issues when needed
• Maintain vendor communication and documentation, including invoice status tracking, PO monitoring, payment exceptions handling, and basic vendor inquiries

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement operations, invoice processing, finance support, or business operations.
• Familiarity with invoice lifecycle, purchase request (PR) / purchase order (PO) processes, and expense reporting
• Experience handling invoices or payments across multiple entities, currencies or countries is a strong plus
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Understanding of Thai VAT or withholding tax documentation (for Visa/Work Permit-related invoices) is advantageous

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts)

Overview of the Job

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead Sertis’ combined accounting and some finance operations task. This role goes beyond core accounting to also own treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and finance operations, making sure cash, controls, and reporting all run smoothly. Reporting directly to the C-level, you will coach a small team of accounting and finance staff, partner with business units across Sertis, and play a central role in scaling our finance function as the company grows. 

In this role, you will get to:

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with TFRS
• Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including vendor payments, customer collections, aging analysis, and credit control
• Lead treasury and cash management activities, including daily cash positioning, bank relationship management, FX exposure monitoring, and short-term liquidity planning
• Ensure full compliance with Thai tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax) and oversee timely filings and submissions
• Manage the annual external audit and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
• Develop, document, and continuously improve accounting and finance policies, internal controls, and SOPs across the end-to-end finance operations
• Partner with people team, project managers, and business team to align financial operations with commercial activity and improve working capital
• Support and Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, including driving better use, configuration, and module adoption of Odoo across accounting, AP, AR, and treasury
• Support strategic initiatives such as funding rounds, banking facilities, and corporate transactions as needed
• Support and coach a team accounting staff across general ledger, AP, AR, and treasury functions.

You’ll Be Successful If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus, and an MBA, CFA, or further professional certification is a strong plus
• At least 5 years of experience across accounting and operations, with at least 1 year in a managerial or team-lead capacity; experience in the tech, services, or consulting industry is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of TFRS, Thai tax law, and statutory reporting; combined exposure to AP, AR, and treasury is essential
• Proven experience leading end-to-end close cycles, managing external audits, and overseeing cash and working capital
• Hands-on experiences with Odoo (ERP and accounting system) is highly preferred; equivalent experience with other ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) combined with willingness to ramp up on Odoo will also be considered
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) for analysis, reconciliation, and cash forecasting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement mindset, with a keen attention to detail

Financial Accounts 

• Prepare complete details and accurate accounts for all entities, including a group consolidation

Accounting Controls

• Responsible for review of journal entries 

• Review reconciliations of all significant account balances including bank accounts and fixed assets, debtors and creditors, and report significant exceptions to management 

• Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues 

Tax 

• Understand key concepts of tax returns (i.e. corporate income tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes) in foreign jurisdictions where the company has legal presence 

• Provide tax team with accurate information for the purpose of tax compliance in local and foreign jurisdictions 

Projects 

• Manage and implement the Company’s initiatives and projects from finance and accounting perspective. This includes providing requirements, designing and performing UAT, designing new workflow, monitoring post-go-live processes, and troubleshooting  

• Identify and drive process and technology improvement opportunities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

About the Role

The Opportunity:

As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to work in Bangkok for Agoda Services Co. Ltd. You will be part of a broader tax advisory team that is rapidly growing in light of the changing tax landscape for digital services. While being part of the broader Tax and Finance team (more than 300 professionals) you will also work closely with the Product, Commercial and Legal teams.  

The aim of this position is to manage global tax advisory matters related to VAT, sales tax, GST and other indirect taxes for Agoda, including the compliance with tax regulations across the globe, with special focus on relationship and transactions with Strategic Partners in a fast‑evolving business environment. You will have end-to-end responsibility for your own projects from scoping the challenge (incl. budgeting) to the overall solution (execution and implementation), including stakeholder management and relationships with our tax advisors. While this role remains very hands-on, you will also be expected to contribute to the long-term vision of the tax team and to share your tax technical expertise with the broader team to support their growth.  

This role involves interaction with our Senior Leadership Team, US parent company, sister brands, international offices, business managers, functional teams, IT and other finance and legal colleagues. Due to rapid growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time.  You are expected to proactively identify new areas where tax support is needed, take initiative in shaping solutions, and take on additional challenges and responsibilities as they arise.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Assessment of indirect tax position and interpretation of our business models

• Research and keep abreast of global indirect tax developments, evaluate and decide on necessary business and process changes, develop and execute plans accordingly to ensure compliance with new tax rules and regulations

• Manage and oversee indirect tax projects and develop strategic and operational implementation work plans to ensure new service or country launches are tax compliant and timely.
• Manage, influence, and challenge cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Product, Legal, Finance, IT, etc.) to ensure tax compliant and scalable solutions, assertively representing tax requirements while balancing business objectives.
• Solid understanding of how indirect taxes affect in-house financial applications and systems,
• Oversee and support team members working on reconciliation of revenue, purchase, output VAT/GST and input VAT/GST with financials
• Coordinate with external advisors on various indirect tax issues, e.g. obtain tax advice as necessary and support team members with accurate and timely indirect tax reporting and tax payments. Responsible for indirect tax awareness and appreciation within the Agoda group.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance or any business/similar related field. Graduate degree in taxation is an additional asset
• Minimum 8 years of indirect tax experience in a Big 4 / Top law firm / major in-house experience is a plus
• Solid technical knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in a global environment is a must. Previous experience in APAC, EMEA or US regions is a plus  
• Detail-oriented individual who independently and proactively lead medium/high complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) drive them through problem definition, design, execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation
• Project management expertise and organizational skills are a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities 

• Process Improvement & Transformation: 
  Analyze, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations (AP, AR, GL, payments, reconciliations, etc.) to drive efficiency, accuracy, and business value. Be comfortable in executing VSMs and Kaizens independently. Be conversant with the latest trends in process improvement leveraging AI/ML and GenAI 

• Data Analysis & Insights: 
  Leverage data analytics to identify trends, root causes (using lean methods), and improvement opportunities. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and process health. 

• Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement: 
  Support and/or lead cross-functional projects with finance, product, tech and business teams independently, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective stakeholder communication. 

• Automation & Technology Enablement: 
  Create macro-based solutions and/or collaborate with technology teams to automate manual processes using RPA, workflow tools, and other digital solutions. 

• Documentation & Training: 
  Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Be conversant with BPMN standards & tools of process documentation 

• Quality & Controls: 
  Identify and support the implementation of internal controls and quality assurance measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Technical & Functional Skills 

• Experience with process mapping, process reengineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies  

• Solid understanding of finance operations processes (OTC, PTP and RTR). Experience as a User of these processes is a plus.   

• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets, perform detailed root cause analysis, and generate actionable insights and improvement plans. 

• Skilled at creating Excel macros to automate processes is preferred 

• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 

• Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation tools (RPA, Alteryx, UiPath, etc.) is highly desirable.

The Opportunity: 

As the Head of Indirect Tax Compliance, you will work for Agoda Services Co., Ltd in Bangkok and report directly to the Associate Director, Tax.  You will be part of the Finance team (approximately 100 professionals) and also work closely with the Legal team.  

The main focus of this position is managing all tax matters related to VAT, sales tax, GST and other indirect taxes for Agoda, including the compliance with tax regulations in all countries where we operate as a business, other tax related items and the relationships with Agoda’s tax and legal advisors. 

This role involves interaction with our US parent company, our international offices, business managers, functional teams, IT and other finance and legal colleagues.  Due to the rapid growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may also evolve over time.  You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional challenges and responsibilities as they occur.  

In this Role, you'll get to:  

• Responsible for overall management of indirect tax compliance and advisory activities across the business. 

• Assessment of indirect tax positions and interpretations of our business models. 

• Define indirect tax requirements for existing and new programs/products and ensure practical implementation of these requirements in internal systems.  

• Research and keep abreast of global indirect tax developments, evaluate necessary business and process changes, develop, and execute plans accordingly to ensure compliance with new tax rules and regulations. 

• Manage indirect tax projects and develop strategic and operational implementation work plans to ensure new service or country launches are tax compliant and timely.  

• Solid understanding of how indirect taxes affect in-house financial applications and systems e.g. Oracle. 

• Reconcile revenue, purchase, output VAT/GST and input VAT/GST with financials. 

• Coordinate with external advisors on various indirect tax issues, e.g. obtain tax advice as necessary and ensure accurate and timely indirect tax reporting and tax payment. 

• Contribute to indirect tax awareness and appreciation within the Agoda group. 

What you'll Need to Succeed: 

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or any business related field. Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) or graduate degree in taxation is a definite asset. 

• Mininum 8 years of indirect tax experience in a multinational tax environment, Big 4 / Top law firm / major corporation experience highly regarded. 

• Strong technical knowledge in indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in an international context, both in mature and developing jurisdictions. 

• Experience with indirect tax setup in systems, including ERP systems.  

• Detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects. 

• Able to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations. 

• Project management expertise, including strong organizational and change management skills. 

• Ability to work independently and productively.

Based in our Bangkok office, this accounting role will work across Agoda’s core operational entities, which mainly focus on accommodation and flight reservations. Financial Accounts  

• Maintain accounting records including journal entries  

• Maintain and control over fixed assets register

Job Description:

• Perform day-to-day Accounts Payable financial and related accounting activities e.g., making payment to supplier, ensure all financial transactions are accurate, executed and recorded on time.
• Perform month end closing activities e.g., monthly reconciliation of Accounts Payable related accounts including overall analysis to detect unusual items and propose resolution on discrepancies/outstanding (If any).

The Opportunity:

As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to work in Bangkok for Agoda Services Co. Ltd. You will be part of a broader tax advisory team that is rapidly growing in light of the changing tax landscape for digital services. While being part of the broader Tax and Finance team (more than 300 professionals) you will also work closely with the Product, Commercial and Legal teams.  

The aim of this position is to manage global tax advisory matters related to VAT, sales tax, GST and other indirect taxes for Agoda, including the compliance with tax regulations across the globe, with special focus on relationship and transactions with Strategic Partners in a fast‑evolving business environment. Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance or any business/similar related field. Graduate degree in taxation is an additional asset
• Minimum 8 years of indirect tax experience in a Big 4 / Top law firm / major in-house experience is a plus
• Solid technical knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT/GST) in a global environment is a must. Previous experience in APAC, EMEA or US regions is a plus  
• Detail-oriented individual who independently and proactively lead medium/high complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) drive them through problem definition, design, execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation
• Project management expertise and organizational skills are a strong plus.

Technical & Functional Skills 

• Experience with process mapping, process reengineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies  

• Solid understanding of finance operations processes (OTC, PTP and RTR). Experience as a User of these processes is a plus.   

• Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets, perform detailed root cause analysis, and generate actionable insights and improvement plans. 

• Skilled at creating Excel macros to automate processes is preferred 

• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 

• Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation tools (RPA, Alteryx, UiPath, etc.) is highly desirable.

• Professional certifications (CA, PMP, CPA, etc.) are a plus.

As Senior Analyst, Pay‑In (B2B), you will own and execute key Pay‑In and AR processes for Agoda’s B2B partner flows. You will be a subject‑matter expert on B2B cash and receivables, ensuring accurate and timely booking‑to‑cash accounting, reconciliation, and reporting, while supporting new product and partner launches.

In this role, you will:

• Run day‑to‑day Pay‑In & AR operations for B2B flows
  • Perform daily and monthly tasks for B2B AR and Pay‑In accounts (e.g., bookings, invoicing, receipts, credit card settlements, write‑offs, reclasses).
  • Ensure that financial data for which you are responsible is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Monitor B2B receivables aging and cash‑in‑transit (CIT) balances, following up on unusual items and long‑outstanding items.
• Manage B2B invoicing and cash application
  • Support and execute invoicing to B2B partners and/or intercompany entities, including aggregation logic and partner-specific configurations.
  • Reconcile cash receipts vs invoices and settlement reports for B2B partners, ensuring correct allocation at booking / CID / partner level.
  • Resolve payment‑related queries and discrepancies with internal stakeholders and partners with satisfactory outcomes.
• Lead B2B reconciliation activities
  • Perform end‑to‑end reconciliation between:
    • Booking systems, B2B invoicing, and general ledger.
    • B2B settlement reports / gateway reports, bank statements, and AR Reconciliator outputs.
  • Investigate and resolve recon breaks and data issues in collaboration with Tech, Product, and other Finance teams.
  • Maintain and monitor CIT aging, ensuring timely clearing and appropriate accounting treatment.
• Support new B2B products, partners, and projects
  • Provide operational finance support for new B2B initiatives (e.g., partner onboarding, new merchant flows, new business models).
  • Participate in UAT for system changes (e.g., ERP/Invoicing systems), ensuring correct Accounts Receivable behavior before go‑live.
  • Provide input on process and system design from an operational and control perspective.
• Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Ensure that processes and documentation under your scope comply with internal policies and SOX control requirements.
  • Identify unusual items, exceptions, and control gaps, escalate appropriately, and drive timely resolution.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, explanations, and evidence.
• Drive continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate B2B Pay‑In and AR processes and reports, including elimination of unnecessary steps.
  • Provide inputs on required changes to related daily activities, reconciliations, and dashboards.
  • Contribute to the overall management and development of the Pay‑In & AR tower, including the successful achievement of its goals and objectives.
• Coach and collaborate
  • Provide guidance and support to more junior team members in daily transaction processing and reconciliation work.
  • Proactively partner and fairly support stakeholders within Finance (Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, R&C) and outside Finance (Product, Tech, B2B / PPS teams).
  • Support the team to deliver ad hoc analyses, reports, and project work as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in Accounting / Finance Operations, preferably with exposure to:
  • Pay‑In, AR, or revenue reconciliation; and/or
  • B2B, affiliate, or payment operations (e.g., gateways, card settlements, invoicing).
• Experience in a multinational company; travel / e‑commerce / online platform industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in transaction processing, reconciliations, and month‑end closing, including handling more complex transactions.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); comfortable working with large data sets and multiple systems.
• Dynamic and able to adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Strong teamwork skills – ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with other teams, both within and outside of Finance.
• Energetic, proactive, and taking initiative, with effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

It’s great if you have:

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and/or finance subledgers (e.g., AR reconciliation tools, revenue recognition systems).
• Prior experience in online travel, payments, or B2B/Affiliate finance operations
• Familiarity with SOX controls and audit requirements.
