About the Role

The Ethos SRE group is looking for a SRE Engineer to collaborate with other teams to improve service reliability, automation  and observability and improve their application maturity, reliability, and production readiness. In this role, you will create new infrastructure and support tools, help other teams debug issues, and act as advisors regarding production readiness when new services are being designed and brought online. About the Role

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid grasp of modern backend architecture and engineering best practices.
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling web services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

Position Overview: 

As our Staff Engineer (Back End),you'll be responsible for building new features,enhancing the existing ones as well as supporting them in production. You will also be responsible for building reusable libraries or technology platforms that address multiple use cases. Must Have Skills:

• Development, Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support etc. 
• Proficiency in at least one server side framework for languages such as Spring boot-java, Node.js, Golang 
• Experience working on NoSQL & SQL Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL,MongoDB, Redis etc
• Preferred experience in Elasticsearch and Kibana (ELK Stack)
