Senior Software Engineering Managers independently lead groups of teams to deliver a variety of software integrated in to our products. This includes autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control or decision support. We expect Senior Software Engineering Managers to demonstrate independent end-to-end outcome ownership of software for an integrated product family, and the teams responsible for building and maintaining it. Senior Software Engineering Managers contribute as a group lead to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with your Technical Lead and other managers to design and deliver on a multi-year, multi-stakeholder software roadmap that spans across multiple groups of teams and products

About the Job

Robotics Engineers contribute to delivery of vehicle perception and planning capability integrated in to our products. This includes systems analysis, sensor selection and integration, perception architecture and implementation, motion planning, health management, behaviour analysis, simulation and test infrastructure, and interfaces with lower- and higher-level systems. We expect Robotics Engineers to demonstrate end-to-end ownership of their projects, contributing as a member of a team to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

• Implement trusted safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems that balance constraints, restrictions and requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment

Senior Robotics Engineers independently drive delivery of vehicle perception and planning capability integrated in to our products. At Anduril Australia we are developing un-crewed maritime and air domain systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of long endurance, multi-mission capability to our customers. ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril is seeking a Senior Manager of Security, APAC based out of our expanding Sydney office. This is a greenfield regional leadership role: you will design, build, and lead Anduril's security function across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will establish and mature our security framework, protecting operations, facilities, personnel, and sensitive information across the entire APAC footprint. • Lead the regional counterintelligence and threat management program in partnership with the global Counterintelligence team, identifying and mitigating insider threats, conducting security investigations, and managing foreign intelligence risks specific to the APAC operating environment. Develop and maintain protective security frameworks for personnel, information, and facilities across the region.
• Lead executive protection efforts across the region, including security arrangements for VIP visits from senior government officials, military leadership, and key partners.
• Oversee the protection of classified and sensitive information, intellectual property, and critical infrastructure across all APAC jurisdictions. Translate global security strategies into actionable regional plans, ensure compliance with Australian Government requirements (DSPF, ISM, DISP), international obligations (AUKUS, Five Eyes), host nation regulations, and Anduril's global security standards.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with government security agencies across the region, including Australian defence, policing, and intelligence agencies and equivalent bodies in other APAC countries.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

An overview of this role

As a Staff Engineer on GitLab's Software Composition Analysis team, you'll drive hands-on implementation of security features that help customers understand and manage risks in their software supply chain. Your focus will be on enhancing GitLab's SCA capabilities in dependency scanning and container scanning. You'll work directly on architecture and technical implementation and help the team push forward on three core goals: Gather (introducing data points that help customers understand the urgency of issues, like reachability analysis and supply chain poisoning detection), Integrate (providing other teams with innovative collection techniques for better workflows), and Optimize (solving data correlation at massive scale). You'll contribute hands-on code, help solve novel technical challenges, and establish patterns that improve how the distributed team works together across multiple time zones.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer and team leader to join our APAC Data Engineering Platform team. The team is responsible for developing Optiver’s next-generation data platform for research and real-time trading, covering orchestration, storage, access and governance of data at scale. This team delivers robust, consistent solutions for a range of stakeholders across the business including engineers, researchers and traders. Our Data Engineers develop solutions using a mix of third-party and in-house technologies, owning their changes end-to-end including understanding the business problem, design, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.

Optiver is looking for a senior engineer to work with our low latency execution platforms, including software that interfaces directly with FPGA-based components. Our execution platforms are responsible for placing orders from auto-trading algorithms with as low a latency as possible, implementing risk boundary checks, order management and exchange connectivity.

What you’ll do

As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in building and evolving Optiver’s next-generation data platform that supports research and real-time trading.

The platform spans orchestration, storage, access and governance of data at scale, enabling engineers, researchers and traders to work efficiently with high-quality data.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing scalable data platform components (e.g. orchestration, storage formats, metadata and streaming systems)
• Working across the full lifecycle: problem understanding, design, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring
• Contributing to architectural decisions that improve performance, scalability and reliability
• Standardising data ingestion and access patterns, including schema management, lineage, permissions and auditing

Who you are

Optiver needs our next Principal Engineer to have:

• 7+ years experience as a Software Engineer delivering production platforms.

• Strong experience with distributed systems & reliability fundamentals, including partitioning, replication, consistency/availability tradeoffs.

• Expertise with one or more of Python/C++/Java/Rust. Solid API and system design skills.

• Data platform fundamentals, including batch/stream processing, table formats, object storage, SQL.

• Understanding of security and governance, such as encryption, authentication, and access control.

• Practical experience with streaming and batch data (e.g., Kafka + Schema Registry).

As our Quantitative Research Intern, you’ll spend your summer delving into complex, data-driven problems at one of the world’s leading tech-driven trading firms. Under the guidance and mentorship of industry experts, you’ll apply your critical mindset and strong technical skills to optimise the models that drive Optiver’s innovative trading strategies.  

Through a mix of trading lectures, coursework and hands-on project experience, you’ll have deepened your understanding of the quantitative trading industry and mastered the practical skills needed to drive our trading success by the end of the 8-week internship. Plus, if you’ve excelled over the summer, you’ll receive an offer to return as a Graduate Quantitative Researcher. 

What you’ll do 

Led by our in-house education team that consists of former traders and engineers, you will complete a curated series of lectures and coursework on trading fundamentals, covering topics such as options pricing, financial markets, trading strategies and cutting-edge technology.  

Then, you will join one of our research teams and be paired with a mentor, applying your recently acquired knowledge to real-world scenarios that contribute towards our trading success. Some of the topics you could be working on, include: 

• Using statistical models and machine learning to develop trading algorithms. 

• Leveraging big data technologies to analyse high-frequency trading strategies, market microstructure, and financial instruments to identify trading opportunities. 

• Building stochastic models to determine the fair value of financial derivatives. 

• Combining quantitative analysis and high-performance implementation to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of pricing engines and libraries.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced software engineer and team leader to lead our APAC Data Engineering Platform team. The team is responsible for developing Optiver’s next-generation data platform for research and real-time trading, covering orchestration, storage, access and governance of data at scale. This team delivers robust, consistent solutions for a range of stakeholders across the business including engineers, researchers and traders. Our Data Engineers develop solutions using a mix of third-party and in-house technologies, owning their changes end-to-end including understanding the business problem, design, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.

As a leader you will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the company to define the team's strategy and roadmap, and you will execute that vision with your team. Your leadership will directly enable a faster, simpler, and more scalable innovation cycle for Optiver globally. You will also be responsible for building the team and growing engineers to reach their full potential. This is a hybrid leadership and engineering role with meaningful hands-on time across requirements, architecture, and code.

Other responsibilities include:

• Build and lead a high performance data engineering team, including managing performance, career development and delivery.

• Own and deliver the vision, strategy and roadmap for Optiver’s data platform.

Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented Senior Gameplay Programmer with a passion for game development. You will be working as part of a small but experienced team, ideally taking responsibility for one or more classic game technology areas and stepping outside your comfort zone to work in other areas as necessary.

This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s state-of-the-art game development studio in Sydney, Australia. 

WHAT WE DO

• The Rockstar Games Gameplay Programming team builds and modifies core gameplay systems and control interfaces using a combination of C++ and game script. 
• We follow an iterative process to tune and polish features to establish the correct look and feel for our games. 
• We create tools to facilitate the implementation of game features, improve iteration times, and increase productivity of all teams. 
• We produce performant, stable and well-documented code which is often complex and intricate, as well as debug, analyse, and optimise, code created by colleagues. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with designers and artists to architect, engineer, and implement gameplay features and systems.  
• Identify areas for improvement and extend/modify existing gameplay systems. 
• Provide solutions and planning for design changes and feedback.  
• Support and mentor less experienced team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience developing video games using C++. 
• Ability to optimize both your own code and team code to meet performance goals. 
• Experience engineering and implementing clean and concise APIs. 
• A strong understanding of top-down design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and game design principles. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find optimal solutions to a given task. 
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, milestone-driven environment. 
• Strong math skills, including knowledge of vectors, matrices, and linear algebra.

Low Latency
Dedicated to the development and execution of ultra-fast systems that underpin IMC’s trading infrastructure, you will be building and maintaining systems with minimal latency to support high-frequency trading. You will be largely working on C++ and interact with Hardware, performance and network engineers.

Algorithmic
Centred on creating and supporting systems that drive our trading strategies, you can expect to be working on developing and implementing algorithms that calculate pricing and risks. Or supporting the development of tools and infrastructure for analysing, modelling and trading financial products. In this area, you will be working on Java or Python.
