Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Overseas Operations Manager (P2P) to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across Latin America.

This role requires deep understanding of P2P market mechanics, merchant ecosystem dynamics, regional payment infrastructures, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating P2P markets at leading exchanges (e.g., Binance, Bybit, Bitget) and can independently formulate expansion strategies while delivering measurable growth outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Growth Strategy:

Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies across LATAM to ensure sustainable and stable business growth
Monitor regional regulatory developments and assess their impact on P2P business models
Continuously adjust market strategy based on competitive landscape and market shifts

P2P Merchant & Ecosystem Management:

Design and optimize advertiser (merchant) onboarding, segmentation, and incentive structures
Maintain close engagement with key merchants to ensure liquidity depth and spread competitiveness
Improve completion rate, trading efficiency, and dispute resolution performance
Develop structured management frameworks for regional merchant operations

Operational Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance P2P transaction workflows and feature design
Provide structured feedback on product gaps, user pain points, and regional behavioral differences
Improve end-to-end operational efficiency, including order flow, payment processing, and dispute handling

Data Monitoring & Competitive Intelligence:

Monitor core P2P KPIs (volume, active users, merchant depth, spreads, completion rate, dispute rate)
Conduct in-depth data analysis and anomaly detection to identify growth bottlenecks and risk patterns
Track competitor strategies (pricing, incentives, merchant policies, risk models) and propose strategic responses

Requirements

5+ years of experience in platform operations; crypto / Web3 experience strongly preferred
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets (outside Mainland China)
Experience at major exchanges
Strong understanding of:
- P2P liquidity dynamics and spread formation
- Regional payment systems (bank transfers, local e-wallets, alternative rails such as PIX, SPEI, Mercado Pago, and similar LATAM payment methods)
Proven ability to adapt operational strategy based on market and competitive changes
Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent in English + Spanish or Portuguese required (both are a strong plus)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing regional teams, community contributors, or local operators across LATAM markets
Strong understanding of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks, particularly in LATAM
Ability to independently articulate structural differences between regional P2P markets
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for crypto and digital payments in key LATAM jurisdictions (eg. Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador)

What You’ll Do

Design and implement high-quality native mobile SDKs that enable developers to integrate embedded wallet functionality into their applications, with a strong focus on API ergonomics, performance, and reliability.
Own SDK features end-to-end: from API design and architecture, through implementation and testing, to release, versioning, and developer documentation.
Build and maintain secure, reliable SDK components for wallet operations, including cryptographic operations, blockchain interactions, and security-sensitive flows.
Define and evolve the SDK architecture to support long-term maintainability, backward compatibility, and adoption across diverse customer applications.
Build sample applications and demos that showcase SDK capabilities and serve as integration references for customers.
Create clear, comprehensive SDK documentation and integration guides.
Work with developer relations and support teams to address customer integration challenges.
Raise the bar for quality and operational excellence by establishing best practices around testing, observability, releases, and code health.
Contribute to a culture of ownership and execution, leading by example through hands-on work, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of software engineering experience, with deep focus on mobile development and shipping production-grade SDKs.
Demonstrated track record of building and shipping high-quality code, with work you can point to and discuss in depth.
Strong hands-on experience with iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin); experience with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks, and familiarity with all.
Experience building mobile SDKs or shared libraries, including API design, versioning, packaging, and long-term maintenance across platforms.
Experience with blockchain-enabled mobile systems, including wallet flows, signing, and on-chain interactions.
Experience working on security-sensitive mobile software, such as key management, secure storage, cryptography, or financial products.
Strong grasp of mobile engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and observability.
A get-things-done mindset with the ability to independently own problems and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Comfortable making long-term architectural decisions while remaining pragmatic and adaptable.
B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Remote role in a distributed team; preference for candidates in the Americas time zone.

Big Advantages

Rust and/or WebAssembly (Wasm) experience, particularly building cross-platform SDKs consumed by mobile apps.
Experience designing shared core logic used across iOS and Android.
