Dialpad's Agentic Runtime team owns the infrastructure and execution engine that runs AI agents at scale across Dialpad's core product modalities — including voice, messaging, video, and digital engagement. From multi-step task orchestration and tool execution to real-time context management and agent memory, our team builds the foundational platform that powers Dialpad's next-generation intelligent, autonomous experiences. Our team builds and maintains the systems that chefs rely on to create, manage, and scale their recipes seamlessly. The Mission

This is a senior role for someone who leads from both directions at once — deeply technical on customer engagements, and fully accountable for the growth and performance of a team of ML engineers and architects. You will report to the Director of AI/ML.

You own hiring, development, and team health alongside leading complex customer engagements, shaping architecture, and driving pre-sales. Both parts of this job are real and ongoing. The right candidate will find energy in that combination, not tension.

Your Assignment

Leading Your Team

• Hire and build: Set the technical bar for ML roles on your team, lead or oversee technical assessments, and make hiring decisions you can stand behind. Build a team that raises the practice's overall standard.
• Develop people: Run regular structured 1:1s, provide candid feedback at meaningful milestones, and actively invest in each person's growth — whether they are early in their career or highly experienced.
• Manage performance: Recognize strong contributors and address performance gaps directly and early. Partner with HRBPs and the Director of AI/ML when situations require a structured path, and advocate for your team when they deserve it.

Strategic Advisory

• Lead ML assessments: Evaluate customer environments end-to-end — infrastructure, data pipelines, model lifecycle, and organizational readiness — and produce recommendations that drive executive decisions and open the door to the next engagement.
• Shape architecture: Serve as the senior technical authority on engagements, setting architectural direction, ensuring technical quality across the team, and making the calls that matter when tradeoffs are hard.
• Advise on ML operations: Help customers build ML systems they can actually own and sustain — translating MLOps, LLMOps, and production monitoring complexity into standards their engineering teams can execute and their leadership can act on.

Hands-On Delivery

• Lead engagements end-to-end: Drive architecture and solution design from kickoff through delivery — setting technical direction, unblocking the team on hard problems, and ensuring the work meets Caylent's quality standards.
• Own the technical relationship: Depending on the engagement, you are either the primary client contact owning all architect-level outcomes, or the senior technical authority providing oversight across the team. What you'll be doing:

As a Global Resolution Engineer (GRE) – Networking SME at WEKA, you will serve as a top-tier technical escalation resource with deep specialization in networking for high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML, and enterprise environments. You will be embedded in the GRE team and work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to resolve critical customer issues, influence product networking design, and improve global support readiness.

You will combine your expertise in modern networking technologies (Ethernet, Infiniband, RDMA, DPDK, UCX) with an understanding of WEKA’s unique networking stack and deployment architectures, helping customers achieve maximum performance, stability, and scalability in demanding environments.

As a GRE - Networking SME you'll: 

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues related to networking, fabric design, connectivity, and performance in WEKA deployments.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1–4 networking problems in high-throughput, low-latency environments, including AI/ML pipelines and HPC clusters.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Engineers to mentor, review case strategy, and elevate overall team networking competence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 15+ years in advanced technical support, network engineering, or network architecture roles in enterprise, cloud, or HPC environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a customer-facing Premium Services role that combines deep, hands-on Ceph architecture and administration with the high-touch, outcome-driven approach of a Senior Designated Services Engineer (DSE). You will be the primary Ceph subject matter expert for assigned strategic customers and internal initiatives, owning the design, deployment, lifecycle operations, and performance of Ceph-based object storage environments. In parallel, you will play a key role in ensuring WEKA's Customer Success, contributing to our five-star Gartner reviews. Collaborating closely with Account Teams, you will gain deep insight into customers' business requirements, technical needs, and system environments. Your role involves resolving technical issues, bridging gaps between customers and Engineering, and ensuring the highest level of service.

Ceph Architecture & Operations

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale production Ceph clusters supporting S3 with an emphasis on availability, performance, and operational simplicity.
• Own cluster lifecycle activities: upgrades, patching, configuration management, routine health checks, and proactive risk remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the Ceph stack, lead incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Establish and maintain runbooks, operational best practices, and customer-facing documentation; drive continuous improvement in reliability, observability, and automation.
• Partner with customer teams on security and compliance requirements
• Advise on hardware and topology choices to meet workload requirements.

Designated Services Engineering 

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and WEKA Engineering/Product to address feature gaps, reliability concerns, and documentation improvements.
• Own, track, and document customer issues via the ticketing system; drive issues to resolution with clear, timely communication and executive-ready updates when needed.
• Proactively monitor customer environments (Ceph and WEKA) using observability and remote monitoring tools to identify and remediate risks before they impact production.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing through internal and customer-facing documentation (FAQs, KB articles, runbooks) and repeatable troubleshooting playbooks.

We’re looking for a senior, customer-facing engineer who can lead Ceph architecture and operations today, and who is excited to grow into a broader object-storage and WEKA role.

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles solving complex enterprise infrastructure issues.
• 5+ years of hands-on Ceph experience in production: cluster design, deployment, upgrades, and day-2 operations.
• Strong understanding of Ceph internals and operational mechanics: MON quorum, MGR active/standby, OSD behavior, CRUSH and CRUSH maps, pools and placement groups (PGs), recovery/backfill and rebalancing.
• Experience operating large-scale (multi-PB) Ceph environments and navigating the operational challenges of fleet size, PG scaling, and long-running recovery events.
• Practical experience with Ceph RGW and S3 concepts (buckets, users/tenants, load balancing, scaling patterns, performance troubleshooting).
• Expertise in Linux/Unix administration in multi-platform, distributed environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, networking, and distributed storage layers (including diagnosing performance bottlenecks and failure scenarios).

The role  

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be the link between development, operations, and security. You will work with delivery teams to embed security controls and best practices into pipelines, automate compliance, and ensure our platforms are reliable, resilient, and secure. You will participate in architecture discussions, help detect and remediate vulnerabilities, and continuously improve our DevSecOps practices. 

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment with engineers across the globe, ensuring that security does not block innovation but rather accelerates it.

.You are someone with 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, or DevSecOps, preferably in large-scale, customer-facing platforms. You have deep expertise in automation, cloud-native security, and CI/CD. • Lead security reviews, audits and threat modeling for high-impact platforms and projects. 

• Guide teams and promote security awareness on secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security best practices, acting as a Security Subject Matter Expert. 

• Automate compliance and governance requirements at scale. 

• Participate in and lead security incident lifecycle, including RCA, remediation, postmortem analysis, and resilience improvements. 

• Mentor and coach DevOps/DevSecOps engineers across teams. 

• Advocate for and implement practices to reduce toil and scale security automation. 

• Define and/or conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts

Data Engineer

Particle41 is seeking a talented and versatile Data Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support our clients' data needs. In This Role, You Will:

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to process large volumes of data from diverse sources.
• Build and optimize data storage solutions, such as data lakes and data warehouses, to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from various internal and external systems to create a unified view for analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through rigorous validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, tools, and systems while promoting best practices for efficient workflows.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

• Collaborate with product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement analysis sessions to understand business needs and user requirements.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations during the requirements-gathering process.

Agile Development

• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Work closely with Agile teams to deliver software solutions on time and within scope.
• Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Testing and Debugging

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of applications.
• Write unit tests and validate the functionality of developed features and individual elements.
• Writing integration tests to ensure different elements within a given application function as intended and meet desired requirements.
• Identify and resolve software defects, code smells, and performance bottlenecks.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in full-stack development.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve the performance, security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and refactor existing codebase for better efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Collaboration

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including testers, and product managers.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where ideas are shared and valued.

Skills and Experience We Value:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Strong understanding of Programming Libraries/Frameworks and technologies such as Flask, API frameworks, datawarehousing/lakehouse, principles, database and ORM, data analysis databricks, panda's, Spark, Pyspark, Machine learning, OpenCV, scikit-learn.
• Utilities & Tools: logging, requests, subprocess, regex, pytest
• ELK stack, Redis, distributed task queues
• Strong understanding of data warehousing/lakehousing principles and concurrent/parallel processing concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud data engineering stack (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new ETL/ELT tools across various cloud providers.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Competence in working on Linux OS and creating shell scripts.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.

DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Particle41, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development and IT operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and IT operations, with a focus on automating and streamlining processes to achieve efficient and reliable software delivery for our customers. You will work closely with the development and operations teams of our customers to build, deploy, and maintain critical systems, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the customers' infrastructure.

In This Role, You Will:

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and objectives of projects.
• Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

Automation and Tooling:

• Design, implement, and manage automation processes for software build, deployment, and configuration.
• Evaluate, select, and implement tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency of the development and deployment processes.

Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud providers) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and others.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, including build, test, and deployment phases.

Monitoring and Performance:

• Develop and implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems and applications.
• Proactively identify and address issues related to system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and application deployment. This would include vulnerability assessments, code scanning and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company security policies. 

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide support for development and operations teams, addressing issues related to build failures, deployment problems, and system outages.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and resolve critical incidents. 

Skills and Experience We Value:
