Functie omschrijving
Je bent als Campagne Manager, veelal samen met een Client Director, verantwoordelijk voor een mooi klantpakket. Binnen je rol zorg je ervoor dat alles soepel verloopt op jouw klanten. Je werkt intern intensief samen met andere Client verantwoordelijken, Strategie, Communications Design, (media) specialisten en de (Financiële) administratie.
Je externe relaties bestaan natuurlijk uit onze contactpersonen bij de klant en vaak ook hun reclamebureaus.
Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden
De Campagne Manager heeft altijd overzicht en is in control op het gebied van de uitvoering. Je bent veelal het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klantvragen. Je stelt begrotingen en procuraties op, verzorgt backplanningen en hebt de timings goed in het vizier.
Daarnaast verzorg je inzicht door het opstellen van (financiële) rapportages m.b.t. uren, capaciteit, media-omzet en winstgevendheid. Je plant en organiseert interne- en externe meetings. Je zorgt dat specialisten campagnes kunnen inboeken in onze systemen en dat templates klaar staan om scenario’s en adviezen op te kunnen leveren.
De Campagne manager is een (media) allrounder die altijd vinger aan de pols houdt en campagnes moeiteloos van A tot Z begeleidt.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will commercialize our Glycolic Acid products which will be produced in our demonstration and flagship plants. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers in the Personal Care market, and for developing partnerships with brand owners and distributors in that market segment. The Business Development Manager will report to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities
The key objective of the Business Development Manager is to identify and develop business opportunities in the Personal Care segment that support the development, scale-up and commercialization of the Volta Technology.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for:
- Acquisition of new opportunities with key customers in the Personal Care segment and converting these into offtake agreements for the Demonstration and Flagship Plant
- Set up Distributor Agreements with distributors in the Personal Care segment
- Develop and execute a commercialization strategy for our Glycolic Acid in the Personal Care market
- Monitor market insights and market reports, collect and analyze relevant data, and provide perspective regarding interest areas and relevance to translate market insight into strategic focus
- Collect and convert customer requirements into technical product specification
- Represent Volta at conferences with the goal of increasing general awareness on the product, lead generation and building relationships with external contacts into meaningful partnerships.

How can you contribute?
Avantium’s Renewable Polymers division is looking for an experienced License Sales Manager to lead licensing activities and coordinate local value chains for our renewable process technologies. As part of the License Team, reporting to the License Director, you will drive commercialization of our YXY® Technology, which converts plant-based feedstock into FDCA – the key building block of PEF, a 100% renewable and recyclable polyester with superior performance for packaging and textiles.
Avantium will launch its Flagship Plant in 2026 (5 kta FDCA/PEF) to demonstrate technology and market at commercial scale. Our business model focuses on selling YXY licenses for large-scale plants worldwide (>100 kta). For this, we work with leading companies across industries (feedstock, chemical companies as well as brands and retailers in a.o. food & beverage, cosmetics and apparel).
As License Sales Manager, you will lead a region (e.g., North America, Europe, Asia) and collaborate with partners in feedstock, operations, and financing. Internal alignment with Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and IP is key. Based in Amsterdam, this role offers the chance to shape sustainable chemistry and develop professionally as part of an innovative team.
