Purpose and Objectives for the Role
This is a hands-on, senior finance role sitting at the heart of the business. You’ll own the full financial control function, from month-end close and statutory reporting through to treasury, audit, and compliance, while also building out the division’s procurement capability from scratch.
You’ll be the go-to person for anything finance-related across the business, working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team. If you’re the kind of person who wants to shape how a finance function operates rather than just maintain it, this role will suit you.

We are looking for a skilled Senior Account Manager to join our leading Energy & Industrials Communications team. In this role, you will lead a team to oversee key client relationships, provide solid counsel and drive well-crafted communications plans across the energy, industrials, and sustainability sectors. As an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, you will be seconded directly into one of our largest and most prestigious government clients in Abu Dhabi, serving as a dedicated strategic communications and public relations expert. You will play a crucial role in managing key communication projects and initiatives from within the client’s environment, working closely with their internal teams and relevant Burson stakeholders. You will also provide essential guidance and support, potentially mentoring junior team members within the client’s structure. Your remit will include developing and executing effective communication strategies designed to enhance the public understanding, manage reputation, and articulate the vision and policies of our government client. Your strong blend of exceptional communication, project management, content & copywriting skills, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical abilities will be pivotal in delivering impactful campaigns.
