EnerMech is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians for upcoming maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects across major industrial sites in the Gladstone region.

As a global provider of integrated maintenance, engineering and project services, EnerMech supports some of Australia's leading resources, energy and industrial operations. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are looking to connect with skilled E&I professionals who are committed to safety, quality and teamwork.

About the Opportunities

Successful candidates may be engaged in a variety of activities, including:

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Calibration, testing and commissioning of field instruments
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation equipment
  • Shutdown and turnaround execution
  • Loop checks and functional testing
  • Maintenance of transmitters, analyzers, valves and associated instrumentation
  • Supporting plant reliability and operational performance
  • Adhering to site safety and quality procedures

Requirements

To Be Successful, You Will Have

  • Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control or Electrical/Instrumentation Trade Qualification
  • Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (where applicable)
  • Current LVR/CPR certification
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Previous experience in heavy industry, LNG, mining, power generation, manufacturing, chemical processing or similar environments
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screening

Highly Regarded

  • Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation
  • Experience with plant shutdowns and brownfield maintenance
  • Hazardous Area (EEHA) qualifications
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Gas Testing qualifications
  • PLC, DCS or SCADA system exposure
  • Current Driver's Licence
