Are you ready to join us?
You will join Data Collection, the newest production line within Statista’s Data Production division, and work closely with the Source Identification & Unlocking team. Our team secures the sources that power the collection line by unlocking access through partnerships and contractual agreements. We also run a structured discovery process to identify and qualify the most suitable sources for specific data needs.
As a working student, you’ll support the team in researching potential partners, preparing outreach, and helping manage ongoing collaborations. This role offers a hands-on introduction to strategic data partnerships, giving you insight into how global data flows are negotiated, structured, and brought to life on one of the world’s leading data platforms.
Tasks:
Support the Partner Data Managers in daily tasks
Support business development through market, partner, and lead research
Generate leads and maintain the partnership pipeline
Assist in projects and take ownership of smaller tasks independently
Participate in internal data strategy and team meetings
Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation to support partnerships
Support in the analysis and optimization of existing processes
Your Profile:
Currently enrolled at a university in a relevant field of study, with an interest in business and marketing topics
Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently
Strong skills in German or an additional language are a plus
