The role

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for building, standardising, and operatively leading our entire warehouse operations. You will steer internal material flows, take ownership of inventory accuracy across systems, and ensure reliable supply to our production facilities. With your hands-on mentality and strong leadership, you will establish clear working standards and continuously develop your team. 

The day-to-day

• Build a clear operative leadership structure and establish binding working standards

• Standardise warehouse processes and ensure their consistent execution

• Control internal material flows between goods receipt, storage, production, and finished goods

• Ensure a reliable and timely supply of materials to the production lines

• Take full responsibility for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock segregation

• Ensure correct, complete, and timely bookings in SAP (WM, EWM, MM)

• Establish a structured serial number management for complete traceability of goods

• Manage shift and resource planning for a two-shift operation

• Foster, train, and develop your team members

• Set up, maintain, and evaluate key warehouse metrics (KPIs)

You should apply if you

• Completed training in logistics or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable qualification 

• Several years of proven experience in leading warehouse or logistics teams

• Practical hands-on experience in operational warehouse and logistics processes

• Profound, essential knowledge of SAP WM, EWM, or MM

• Experience with inventories, cycle counts, and managing overall stock accuracy

• Fluent in both German and English in word and speech

• Hands-on mentality, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented leadership style

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean methods (5S, Kaizen) or KPI structures is a plus

• Industry experience in Defence, Aerospace or Automotive
