Position Overview
Keep our communities fed.Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Earn $22.00 per hour
Full Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA
You will contribute by:
Operating an electric riding pallet jack
Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
What’s a great way to stay in shape?
Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
