Position Summary:

This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining all upholstered materials, furniture and finishes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

•    Repairs and maintains all upholstered materials, furniture and finishes

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for all departmental logs, record keeping and labor recording pertinent to their day-to-day job duties
•    Assists other trades on tasks, as needed
•    Maintains a clean and safe work environment

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

•    High School Diploma or equivalent 
•    Four years of upholstery, repair and replacement experience
•    In lieu of previous work experience, two years of education in this field may be substituted

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

•    Good written and verbal communication skills
•    Knowledge of the property layout including  pits, sections and zones 

Training Requirements:

•    Mandated safety classes
•    Proper use of tools and equipment required to complete job duties

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

•    Must be able to work in a smoking environment as well as various weather conditions including extreme hot and cold
•    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
•    Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
