About the Role

 

As a Transport Systems & Data Administrator you will be providing support to manage the Freight Management/TMS and Case Management systems, integration and maintenance of transport master data for a new Program. Joining a highly collaborative team you will provide systems and data support to successfully manage transport operations and improve the end-to-end processes with Suppliers, Carriers and SC&L team members.

 

This includes establishing data standards and ensuring compliance, ongoing master data maintenance, and onboarding of Suppliers and Carriers with particular focus on system set up and project managing system integrations and deployment.

 

Additionally, you will work with system providers on solution design, system development, training, system enhancement rollouts and business continuity plans.

 

You will work closely with cross functional teams as they develop greater knowledge of the transport network and assist in identifying optimisation opportunities that would require system, master data, and/or process changes.

 

What's involved:

  • Work closely with Technology suppliers and Bunnings Tech team to maintain and develop systems to meet business and Program requirements
  • Lead system integration between Suppliers and Carriers to our Freight Management System
  • Ensure security through access controls and safeguard data to prevent unauthorised access
  • Troubleshoot technical issues or outages through problem diagnosis promptly and communicate effectively with system users
  • Maintain master data related to transport rates, routes, Supplier and Carrier information, user accounts, etc.
  • Provide accurate data and support to business operations in the use of information and timely management of master and reference data
  • Identify and deliver system improvements and efficiency savings
  • Measure ROI on key initiatives through, safety, customer satisfaction, time savings & productivity gains


Who we're looking for

You are a passionate Supply Chain & Logistics data & systems administrator who is adept at solution design and implementation, training, have exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills and are outcome driven in your approach to work. You are comfortable working autonomously when needed, a strong problem solver and are an excellent communicator in a diverse environment.

 

You'll need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in systems and data administration roles
  • Proficiency using Freight Management Systems and/or TMS
  • Advanced experience in setup governance and maintenance of master data
  • Advanced knowledge of system administration in a logistics environment
  • Strong experience in transport operations and understanding of key cost drivers in a Transport network
  • Experience with Change management will be highly regarded
