About this Trainer - IT Software (Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required) role at North Point Technology
North Point Technology is looking to hire a Software Trainer to support a cutting-edge geospatial intelligence data management program serving intelligence analysts and decision-makers worldwide. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to start. You will be embedded in an Agile software development Scrum team, contributing to the design and development of user training materials for next-generation geospatial analysis and production capabilities. Occasional travel to customer sites to deliver end-user training is part of this position.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Trainer on an Agile Scrum team, you will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design and develop comprehensive user training materials for geospatial intelligence software applications. You will deliver hands-on training sessions to end users at various customer locations, ensuring users can effectively leverage new and updated application capabilities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of training content in alignment with evolving software releases and mission requirements.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Development of user training materials for software applications
- Experience working within a software development program
- Familiarity with Scrum processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of GEOINT analytic workflows
- Experience working on Agile software Scrum teams
- AI prompting techniques as applied to training or software development contexts
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required to start
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to classified information as required by a government security investigation
