About The Role

We are seeking a proactive Tools Sales Support Representative to drive product and customer service focused activities including new service opportunities/upcoming projects, trials and quality audits, carbide recycling drive and higher-level technical coaching and training for less experienced persons. To serve as field drivers implementing on the site tactics to sustain ang grow business from technical and services perspective.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Assist customers and sales with troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Train users: internal and external and create training materials.
  • Test and validate R&D designs for rock tools in Mining applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Line development team to improve performance and create new technologies.
  • Provide on-site technical consulting to optimize drilling operation.
  • Prepare technical reports and manage field tools.
  • Make technical documentation and tools to support frontline.
  • Share product knowledge across the business by serving as high level experts in their assigned space.
  • Take responsibility for assigned customer contracts from Supervisory organization and drive implementation and task executions to deliver customer value in line with set KPI’s.
  • Support field trial, tool selection and customer audits as well as recommendations.
  • Evaluate improvements and drive brand loyalty across Rock Tools.
  • Carry out and support TSSR defined tasks and professional development of team members as required.
  • Internal travels local/foreign for business needs and customer site engagements with identified key persons as part of multi-disciplinary team efforts to drive business.

Qualification & Competencies

  • Undergraduate Mining/Mechanical Engineer/Earth Sciences and/or Trade Experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, practical experience in the field, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with contracts and customer support and production processes in both mining and construction.
  • Organized work methods and keen insight into what customers value.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product manufacturing processes.
