Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and leveraging automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role focuses on managing the entire quality engineering function with an emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous engagement with testing frameworks and collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on automation best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with API Testing.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages related to Playwright.
- Ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Experience in integrating automated tests within continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting automation test failures to ensure robust test coverage.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
