About the team
The Mastercard Tech Regulatory of Risk & Controls organization is looking for a Technology Risk Analyst I to support a regulatory execution, customer assurance, and controls program supporting various security requirements to meet customer and regulatory obligations for Mastercard.
Focus will be on meeting regulatory standards and providing compliance support, monitoring, and reporting of the ongoing operating effectiveness of the internal control environment — including support for SOC 1 / SOC 2 attestation and reporting activities and the validation of IT general controls (ITGCs) across in-scope systems, applications, and processes. This role is a pivotal part of the Mastercard technology risk function and supports Mastercard's commitment to balancing innovation and streamlining frameworks, while protecting the internal control posture. The team assesses internal controls to proactively identify risks, define remediation actions, and track remediation efforts. This includes evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT and business process controls, as well as coordinating evidence collection for customer and regulatory requests. In addition, the role will support opportunities to drive automation and process optimization — including streamlining regulatory engagements and obligations, evidence gathering, control testing, and continuous control monitoring to improve the efficiency and reliability of the assurance program. We are looking for someone to join our team and help us meet these compliance goals.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically while ensuring that the corporation remains compliant with required security, technology, and financial standards, as well as industry best practices — with a working understanding of IT general controls and broader control frameworks.
