Job Description

Your role:

  • Lead and coordinate the Italian Fast Response Team (FRT), driving operational alignment, prioritization, and high-quality technical service delivery across the country.
  • Act as an FRT technical resource during emergency situations and high-criticality operational scenarios, providing expert support to ensure rapid issue resolution and system uptime.
  • Manage and monitor the availability and allocation of technical tools required for FRT activities, enabling efficient field operations.
  • Plan and oversee the technical execution of MR cold head maintenance activities, ensuring system reliability, performance, and continuity.
  • Coordinate the technical aspects of helium refill activities, optimizing planning and minimizing operational impact for customers.
  • Serve as the national point of contact for the international Latham team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and information flow on cryogenic-related topics.
  • Support the MR Technical Support Specialist (TSS) in managing technical escalations and contribute to resolving complex technical cases.
  • Manage proactive calls generated through SMAX, with a specific focus on MR cryogenic-related issues, helping prevent system downtime and improve customer experience.
  • Provide second-level technical support and analysis to the RSE organization on MR cryogenic issues.
  • Regularly monitor and analyse system performance through HAS (High Activity Sites), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.


You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Solid experience in the Magnetic Resonance field  (at least 5 years) and strong motivation to develop deep technical expertise in MR systems.
  • Experience within a Fast Response Team (FRT) or willingness to complete the related training path is a nice to have.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MR systems, with a focus on cryogenic components.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage critical situations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English in addition to Italian as local language.
  • Availability to travel around Italy.

Location

This role can be performed while remaining affiliated with any Philips office in Italy. Regular interaction with field teams and stakeholders across the country is expected, with travelling required to support business needs.


Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €35,256.00 - € 66,625.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity, local market considerations and internal guidelines for promotions and lateral moves. This role is eligible for short term incentive, with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company resultsWe’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
