About this Technical Marketing role at Ent Security
Technical Marketing Manager
About Ent
Ent is the intent-aware workspace security platform for securing human and AI-driven work. Built to protect productivity, the new attack surface, Ent understands not just what users and agents do but why, and intervenes at the moment of risk before incidents occur. Where existing tools see events, Ent sees intent, so security teams can step in at the moment of risk instead of investigating days later. Founded by Lou Manousos and Brandon Dixon, co-founders of RiskIQ (acquired by Microsoft) and the team behind Microsoft Security Copilot, Ent is in production with Global 2000 customers across hospitality, financial services, and defense, and backed by Decibel, Sequoia, Crosspoint Capital, Craft Ventures, Shield Capital, Felicis, and In-Q-Tel. We’re now hiring the team that will define this category.
How We Work
Customer first. The product and the business are built around problems we’ve watched real security teams struggle with — not the other way around. Every roadmap conversation starts with what a CISO told us last week.
Humble. No drama. We hire people who share the mission and trust each other to deliver. Teamwork over showmanship. Accountability over politics. The work speaks louder than the person doing it.
Urgency. The window to build a durable security company in the AI era is open right now and it will not stay open. The shot clock has started. We move at the speed of the people we want to protect.
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to be the technical storyteller for Ent. This is a person who turns our platform into demos, events, and enablement that make its value obvious. Sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, you'll build the demos and technical narratives that show Ent stopping risk in real time, take that story to market through events and content, and equip our sellers to carry it on their own. This is a high-visibility marketing role for someone who can go deep on security architecture and translate it into compelling, credible stories.
What You’ll Achieve (Responsibilities)
You’ll own Ent's technical marketing narrative — translating a sophisticated platform into messaging, positioning, and stories that resonate with a technical, security-minded audience.
Build and maintain compelling product demos that show how Ent reads human, AI agent, and application activity and intervenes at the moment of risk.
Produce technical marketing content across formats including solution briefs, demo videos, walkthroughs, blog posts, competitive positioning, and product launch materials.
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and translating insights into differentiated positioning and battle cards for the field.
Plan and run marketing events, conferences, webinars, workshops, and executive briefings, presenting Ent to technical and executive audiences.
Drive technical product launches in partnership with product marketing, owning the technical proof points and demo assets that bring each launch to life.
Train and enable sellers building demo certifications, playbooks, and talk tracks so the field can present Ent's technical story confidently and independently.
Serve as a two-way bridge between the market and product/engineering, channeling customer and prospect feedback into positioning and the roadmap.
Stay fluent in the evolving AI-security landscape and competitors to keep our technical narrative sharp and differentiated.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements)
5+ years in technical marketing, product marketing, developer relations or a similar technical-yet-market-facing role
Experience in cybersecurity, and familiarity with concepts like endpoint security strongly preferred.
Strong storytelling, messaging, and content-creation skills, with the ability to make complex technology clear and compelling.
Demonstrated insight and hands-on experience in competitive analysis, with the ability to translate competitor intelligence into positioning, messaging, and enablement assets.
Excellent presentation skills, with comfort presenting live to both technical practitioners and executives.
Experience creating marketing content and sales enablement materials across formats (video, written, slides).
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and change in a fast-moving, early-stage environment, with a bias toward building things from scratch.
Background in SaaS / B2B enterprise software preferred.
