Job Summary:

The Algorithm Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms,  related to vehicle control.

Your Role:

  • Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using MATLAB-Simulink and/or C++.

  • Collaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases. 

  • Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs.

  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.  

  • Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap. 

  • Analyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements.

  • Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues.

  • Complete assigned individual and team tasks.

  • Follow defined software development and documentation procedures.

Your Background: (6-11 years)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.

  • Experience with Vehicle Dynamics, State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.

  • 6+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++ and Simulink modeling

  • Strong background in Vehicle Dynamics, control theory & systems design

  • Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in  EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field.

  • 6+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) – MBD and C++.

  • Superior communication & presentation skills

  • Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion

  • ISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise
