About this Tax Manager - Financial Services role at Trade Republic

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop and maintain tax compliance processes for the organization within the context of financial / security services from capital gains taxes, US withholding tax and financial transaction taxes to reporting requirements to German, European and US tax authorities (CRS, FATCA, QI and other local reporting obligations).
- Work closely with our Product teams to enable the development of financial products - you will be the main point of contact for CRS, FATCA, QI related topics within the organization.
- Coordinate with our external partners, including financial institutions, service providers and tax advisors.
- Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republic’s existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least four years experience in professional tax services or an in-house tax function.
- Experience in the financial services / banking sector with CRS and FATCA exposure. Have you heard about the QI (Qualified Intermediary) status? Even better!
- Reliable personality with high attention to detail.
- Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly.
- Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization.
