Supply Chain Packaging Systems Specialist

Location: College Park ADMF Dublin

This is what you will do:

The Supply Chain Packaging Systems Specialist is responsible for the integration and operational support of packaging supply chain processes and associated business systems within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

The role combines advanced production planning System (OMP), SAP business systems expertise and master data governance to ensure efficient execution of finished product packaging operations.

The position requires specialist knowledge of supply chain planning, manufacturing execution, SAP ERP systems and master data structures.

You will be responsible for:

OMP Solution Ownership & Deployment:

  • Act as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OMP planning solutions and associated supply chain planning processes.
  • Support the technical rollout of OMP capabilities across Packaging, Manufacturing, Materials Planning and Inventory Planning.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain, Digital, IT and external implementation partners to support system configuration, deployment activities, testing, validation and continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into system design recommendations to ensure planning solutions align with operational needs.
  • Participate in OMP solution design workshops and business process mapping activities.

SAP Supply Chain & Manufacturing Systems Support

  • Serve as site subject matter expert for SAP manufacturing and supply chain business processes.
  • Provide end-user support across SAP modules including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) & Quality Management (QM)
  • Act as the interface between business stakeholders and IT teams for SAP configuration testing, system validation activities, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
  • Maintain validated system documentation in compliance with GxP requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for business process optimisation through improved use of SAP and associated digital solutions.

Master Data Governance

  • Create, maintain, and govern supply chain and manufacturing master data including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Production Versions & Recipes and Routings & Work Centres
  • Partner with Global Master Data teams to support data governance initiatives.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Training & Stakeholder Support

  • Develop and deliver SAP and process training to end users.
  • Communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders through reports, presentations, workshops, and project updates.
  • Promote best practices in supply chain systems utilisation, and master data management.

You will need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience supporting ERP and Planning Systems.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing systems, advanced planning systems or supply chain digital transformation
  • Demonstrated experience participating in ERP or planning system implementations, upgrades or global deployments.
  • Experience operating within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.

We would prefer for you to have:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • SAP Functional Consultant, Super User or Deployment Lead experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end OMP or SAP implementation projects.
